Okay so, lemme explain a little bit lol. So due China's censorship, when it comes to GLs, everything have to be subtext in a way. So the 2 leads do have feelings for each other, but the show can't really show it like we're use to like in Thai GLs. This show is based off a manhua (Chinese colored manga) and they admit their love for each other before the baby is born. Now as for the ending, there is gonna be a season 2 eventually lol it's just hard because they want to show more of the relationship between them and a little more explicit scenes But to do that, they have to find the right production company that will let them do it which is hard thing to do in mainland China. They are currently looking into foreign production companies, most likely either Taiwanese or Singaporean since those countries would allowed LGBT+ shows and or scenes. So it could be another year before we get the next season. I highly recommend you read the Manhua
