I love this show and episode so much. Thank you for reacting!
Episode 5 starts with a recap of the main events of episode 4 as Rann draws a picture for her diary: she confessed her love, and made love. So, there is more to them than being junior and senior she argues, and she claims that Lené must have her reasons for pushing her away four years ago, or otherwise their night together wouldn’t have happened. She wonders what become of them in neither one dies, will they be lovers, build a house or go on road trips like she dreamt of. If she has to die, Rann argues, then she will do everything to make sure she has no regrets like last time. In the morning, they have time for breakfast, to the surprise of Lené – and Rann teases her to ask what they have time for that day, and replying that she has time “to win her heart” when Lené finally asks. While they are eating breakfast, Peem and the house maid watch them, they argue that Lené is desperately trying to hug Rann, but acts all composed, and hope that she will finally listen to what her heart is telling her, and they joke a little about it. After the credits, we are back in the office where Rann and Lené are finishing a video call, and Lené thinks Rann should leave, but Rann wastes a little more time “tidying up” and Lené tells her to get Peem for her. Rann obviously wants to spend more time with Lené, but she sends her away, all the while being happy herself. Rann next tries to trip and fall in front of Lené, but Peem catches her while Lené does not react. He tells her to make it more believable next time, and Lené only reacts by saying “this girl…”. At a meeting, Rann is extra attentive and follows all her request before she even makes them – something which doesn’t escape the attention of the co-workers, and Rann argues that she is the perfect match for Lené – as her secretary. Lené wants her to get her some coffee, but Rann claims she thought she would have her instead, as she leaves to get them coffee. Lené smiles at her audacity – which the co-workers also notice. In the evening at home, Rann comes into her room a can’t stop staring at Lené who is fresh out of the shower. She turn around and wants to leave again as Lené wants to know if she’s trying to burn a hole through her, but she tells her to stay and asks her what she wants. She tells her she will visit Kanin (her father) the next day, to find out if he’s suspicious of her yet. She thinks the reason for her high salary is because he expects her to feed him information about Lené, and she might be able to dig up more evidence if he thinks she’s still on his side. Lené argues it’s too dangerous, and that they don’t even know whether he already knows that is was Rann at the warehouse that night. But Rann claims that’s exactly why she has to go, and she isn’t asking for permission – she just wants to inform her so she doesn’t find out later and doubt her. Lené gives up, just asking her not to push herself too far. Rann wants to go, but Lené holds her back, and asks if she’s been making a move on her for the past few days. As Lené closes the distance between them, Rann is asking her if she’s getting back at her for being stubborn, Lené teases that she knows she’s being stubborn then, and Rann claims Lené is just as irrational. Lené wants to know if she rather wants this irrational girl to flirt with her for a change – she make a move on her, then tells her to stop flirting and dry her hair. Rann does exactly that, and claims she’s the worst. She tells her to stop turning her on but end up doing nothing, then covers her mouth in shock because of what she just said. Lené wants to know if that night was not enough for her. Then, they lie next to each other on the couch, cuddle and hug each other. Lené want to know when she became like this, and Rann claims she always was like that, but a certain someone kept pushing her away. And Lené likes it that she stayed like that. Kanin meets with Dean whom he calls the future of their company. He has a date later, and Kanin asks him if he’s interested in Lené anymore. She is beautiful, but has zero interest in him, he claims, and argues that being too capable can be a problem. Otherwise, why else has he chosen him to help him oust her from the board. Kanin just wants his daughter to live an easy life, wear beautiful clothes, have time to find a lover or go on trips, and be happy like other young women. But Dean argues that she won’t go along with it, and Kanin claims because of that, everyone else is dissatisfied, and now they are putting the pressure on him, which is why he has to turn to Dean for help. Dead argues that children should be obedient. Kanin agrees and asks how is the matter with the shares coming along. And Dean is having his people handle this as quietly as possible, so that Lené won’t be able to do anything once she finds out what going on. Kanin just smiles at that. The next morning, Rann comes into Kanin’s office, and wants to report of Lené acting strangely last Friday, though she doesn’t know if that counts. She tells her that Lené was gone all night, then returned with blood-stained clothes – and we see that Lené told her to report that, claiming that he suspects this already and just hasn’t found any concrete evidence yet, and arguing that sooner or later, they are going to clash with each other, and she should just confirm his suspicions. Kanin wants to know how she knew it was blood, and Rann claims it was because of the metallic smell. Kanin thanks her for doing the right thing, and Rann starts to leave, dropping her earring in the office. Kanin wants to know if she was at Lené place the whole night, and she confirm. He thanks her for reporting this and asks her to keep a close eye on Lené. She get out of his office still nervous and get immediately dragged to the stairwell by Lené, wanting to know if Kanin did anything to her. But Rann just hugs her, and claims that Kanin’s eyes were so scary as if they could see through her, and she thought she was going to get caught. Lené claims that why she told her not to do it. But Rann claims that she has pulled it off, and Kanin seemed to believe her. Lené argues that Rann is looking pale and shaking, but Rann smiles and Lené wants to know why. Rann is just happy that Lené is worried. Lené wants to know who’s worried, they kisses her on the mouth once, with Rann fearing that someone might see them, then kisses her again with Rann eventually responding. A noise from upstairs startles them, and they leave the stairwell. Later, Rann returns to Kanin’s office as he has left, and she feign looking for her earring as her secretary let her in. She tells her to make it quick, but then gets distracted by someone yelling outside and the secretary leaves to find out what going on leaving Rann alone to get some files from his computer, while a co-worker does her best to keep the secretary busy. Rann manages to retrieve the files and “find” her earring. And we see that Rann actually paid her co-worker to cause the disturbance. In the restroom, Rann calls Gen, her friend who knows a bit of IT – and she tells her to wait for the owner of the computer to turn it on before she might be able to access. But she has to tell her everything once it’s all over. Rann agrees and they hang up… …but outside the stall, Lené is standing in the restroom, and claims to have heard nothing. We get a bit of levity with Ran and the co-worker sharing a meal to grill her about her relationship with Lené, but she gets saved by a call of her phone. It’s Peem who wants to know where she is; she reports that she is at lunch with the team, but argues whether Lené needs something from her, and Peem tells her a certain someone wants to know at which place she is. He tells her someone is going to pick her up and she doesn’t have to work that day anymore. Just as he hangs up, Dean comes over to her. We get a bit of back-and-forth between Peem and Lené, then, Lené ask what she should do. Peem argues she’s already gone soft on Rann, so why should she ask him. But Lené claims he knows exactly why she sent her abroad. Peem argues that she should know better than anyone why she came back, and that things have already gone past the point of no return. Maybe the safest place for Rann is right by her side, he claims, and argues that she doesn’t have the heart to send her back, anyway. Meanwhile, Dean tries to flirt with Rann, who wants to make Lené assign her as his liaison. He can tell with one look that she’s capable. But Rann thinks he won’t have the time to drop by, because he has other companies to run. Dead praises her for being interested enough to check his background. She wants to go, but Dean holds her back, claiming that he’s interested in her. Just as Lené arrives, Dean leans Rann making it look like he’s kissing her. She drags Rann away telling Dean not to cross the line, she pushes Rann into the car then pushes Peem away, and drives herself off. At home, she wants to know what Rann did with Dean. Rann claims it was nothing, but Lené is too agitated to think, and accuses her of kissing Dean in broad daylight while pretending to want to date her. She claims she’s been secretly talking to someone and lying constantly to hide it – and we get a flashback of the restroom scene. She thinks that Rann has lived abroad for so long, that maybe kissing a couple of guys isn’t a dig deal to her. But it is to her, she doesn’t like sluts who throw themselves at everyone. Rann claims that since she says they are nothing to each other, whom she kisses, hugs or screws is none of her business, and says she has no right to be jealous. Lené then offers to set a status – hookup partners – and tells her to get out of her life if that is not what she desires. Rann walks away in tears, and cries uncontrollably in her room. Lené hears her crying and apologizes for her behavior though the door. But Rann just keeps crying. When she comes down the stairs the next day, Lené wants to talk – but Rann just calls her Lené and wants to go to work. Lené tries it again at the office, but Rann is all business, arguing that she doesn’t want her to think she’s using something else but her brain to get the job done. Rann has received the files that Gen could retrieve on a flash drive. She put it in her bag, as Lené wants to give her a gift – a necklace. But she accuses her of buying a necklace for her secretary after calling her as easy woman and she rejects her gift, asking her if that was what she thought of her all the time, and she claims her own necklace is worth thousands of time more than what she’s giving her. Lené wants to know how she should apologize so that she forgives her. But Rann argues she doesn’t even need to, because they are just boss and secretary. Ot does she just see her as a hookup partner? Lené claims she should have never said that, just as Peem comes in and ends this conversation, claiming they have to go and someone is giving Rann a ride. Rann thinks it’s just one more secret she’s not supposed to know then goes downstairs to find her driver. Dean greets Lené by calling her darling, with Peem cautioning him or Lené will smash his head with a bottle. She doesn’t react to him and Peem claims she has “trouble with the missus”. Dean thinks a drink might cool her down, but Lené wants to get to the point, with Dean claiming it was just a misunderstanding, and vowing to have never kissed her girl. She only asked Rann if she had seen a photo of Lené when she was five, because back then, she cried because her took her doll, and she even whacked him non-stop. But her girl was smiling so sweetly like she was in Candy World – until Lené showed up and ruined everything. He claims to be her only childhood friend, and he came right away when she asked. He then tells of Kanin’s plan to oust her from the board, and her own plans to backstab him. And that’s where the episode ends, save for a bit with Rann alone in her room who is about to check the contents of the flash drive as Lené texts her “P’Le was wrong. Completely wrong. Can you forgive this foolish girl? Please?” and Rann curses her for being a brat, but seems to have calmed down. _____ Those were 40 minutes of pure bliss, followed by the worst argument out two lovebirds had all series – and over a guy who is working with Lené. I can chalk this one up to her temper, though, that hasn’t been Lené most favorable character trait. I expect the guys who Kanin is dealing with in regard to weapons-smuggling to be the ones that will aim to kill Lené, but I suspect the final scene of the preview to be an intentional misdirection of the show, because they sure wouldn’t want to go through another loop again this late in the series – right?
Hahaha I knew that would piss you off. And you are right only with poisonous love we have seen you this mad before.
