For Day 4/30, I decided to mix a classic board game with one of the most recognizable cookies - meet my Oreo-themed Checkers Set! 🍪♟️

The checker pieces are designed to look like mini Oreo-style cookies, with a dark cookie shell, white cream center, decorative patterns, and a crown in the center to give them that classic checkers-game look.

I also wanted the board to be more than just a playing surface. It features a built-in storage compartment underneath, so when you're finished playing, you can store all the Oreo-style checker pieces neatly inside. 📦

🖨 Recommended Print Settings

♟️ Checkerboard

• Printer: FDM

• Layer Height: 0.20 mm

• Infill: 10–15%

• Walls/Perimeters: 2

• Supports: ❌ Not required

• Brim: Optional

• Material: PLA recommended

• Nozzle Temperature: 210–220°C

• Bed Temperature: 55–60°C

🍪 Oreo-Themed Checker Pieces

• Layer Height: 0.13 mm — recommended for better detail

The 0.13 mm layer height is recommended for the checker pieces to better preserve the small embossed details of the Oreo-inspired pattern.

⚠️ Important — Let the Board Cool Before Removing

The checkerboard is a large, flat print, so please let it cool completely before removing it from the build plate.

Removing the board while it is still warm can cause it to warp or bend. For the best result, leave the finished print on the build plate until both the board and build plate have cooled down before removing it.

Once everything is printed, the Oreo-themed pieces can be stored neatly inside the board, keeping the whole set together and ready for the next game.

Of course, you don't have to stick with the classic Oreo colors — try different filament combinations to create your own cookie flavors! 🍪🎨
