Active bug fixes on a 20-year-old codebase, manual bans in the MvM community, and new Source 2 evidence pointing directly at Codename TF all at the same time. Something is happening with Team Fortress 2 and we are going to figure out what it all actually means.

Back in late January, Valve's Source1Import software, the tool used to batch port content created for Source 1 into source 2, added support for Team Fortress 2 style soundscapes to be brought over with maps in this automated process. the functionality, likely added to help with the complete porting

We've had some strange and exciting movements within the Team Fortress 2 space, and although they aren't directly connected to the 'Tf' codename, it is representative of a shift. I've been gathering information on Team Fortress, and I'm ready to start the discussion.
