30:20 actually I did sit up right and go wait a minute there is a "dark age" equivalent because in the classic tos episode lights of zetar memory alpha is damaged and therefore its quite possible this specific knowledge was lost (obviously they should probably have a backup but still)

To be turbo pedantic, they dont "forget" how pon farr works, when McCoy scans spock he does correctly identify it, its just that spock didnt bring it up as a possible issue for some reason (personal I guess) or explain it fully because hes having an autistic meltdown
