Take Phlox's Wife, Please!
This week, Clayton and Mattie watch Season 2, Episode 14 "Stigma," and talk about the week that was on February 5, 2003. A wild thing happens this week, which is that the episode is pretty good and its A- and B-plots tied together? Also, it turns out that Denobulans have invented HIGHLY hierarchical polyamory.

Was trying to think of what the failure to name "the minority" reminded me of, and realized it's the failure to name "the Xindi weapon" that comes up every other sentence throughout season 3.
I remember Columbia was scheduled to do a rare early morning landing in Florida, which meant that it was crossing over a lot of the western US in the dark, and I know at least one person who got up early to watch it and noticed these little glowy bits separating from the main streak across the sky and thought something along the lines of "that's a neat thing high-altitude plasma does during reentry" and then went inside and caught the news like 30 minutes later and realized that was probably not normal after all.
