Are you Seven Samurai'ing me right now?
This week, we're talking about season 2, episode 6 "Marauders," and the week of October 30, 2002. Reach for the sky, and hand over the deuterium!!!! Everyone is mean to each other in this one, while the crew tries to do A Bug's Life without all the deception for some reason.
(FYI, we're going on a little break after this episode but Patreon subscribers can look forward to a BONUS episode before the end of the year!)

Looking at the Wikipedia page, the horrible godless future the guy travels to in Time Changer is our present‽ (Well, our present at the time the movie was made, anyway.) That's quite a hook. Not enough of a hook for me to actually watch it, but still pretty good.
I can't believe they'd just lift the plot of Roger Corman's Battle Beyond the Stars like that.
Hey my crossword bit made the show
Keep it up, we gotta drive mattie insane in a different way for her mental health
