Temporal Culture War Episode 20: Least Dangerous Game
In this episode, the crew stumble upon a rogue planet teeming with jungle life warmed by hot geyser's, where for generations, elite alien hunters have ritually stalked the shapeshifting, telekinetic and possibly sentient ghosts that live there. SOMEHOW THIS IS BORING.
We also talk about Celebrity Boxing.

I rented clockstoppers on vhs from blockbuster like half the times we went i loved it won't be watching it again because even as a child I noticed the female lead loses her accent after one like 2 scenes
That 80's show is the first time I ever intentionally watched the first episode of something, and hated it immediately. Back before streaming, this was a novel experience.
That 80's Show! I only remember the ads. It looked like it had all of the 80's stereotypes, as imagined by someone who wasn't alive then, all hanging out together somehow. And then I didn't watch it. I assume the rest of America reacted similarly.
The celebrity boxing stuff triggered a rush of memories. Danny Bonaduce had a run as a morning radio host on WLUP Chicago in the 90s and I remember him boxing some other shock jock during that time. It was either Jonathon Brandmeier or Mancow and I refuse to do the research to confirm this. He also knocked out Donny Osmond.
I remember That 80s Show. And by remember I mean I remember a girl with a Mohawk. And feeling that the show itself was really, really bad but no specifics beyond that. I watched 1 (?) episode when it aired??
Amazing that MTV managed to put out a parody of celebrity boxing four years before it aired.
"You know, Lawrence Kansas might like hunting. What if we did an ep about it, but kinda boring?"
