100,000 downloads!

KSS2 has officially passed that mark since we started counting, which I believe was just after summer last year.

For a project that is not actively promoted on forums or other platforms, that is a massive milestone. Most of the visibility KSS2 gets comes from word of mouth and YouTubers who decided it was worth showing to people. That makes this number feel even bigger.

So thank you. To everyone who downloaded the mod, played it, tested builds, reported bugs, shared screenshots, made videos, recommended it to others, or simply kept following the project: you helped make this possible.

A big thank you as well to the devs, contributors, and people in the wider community who supported the project along the way. Projects like this are never built in a vacuum.

And because 100k deserves more than just a number, I’ll be bringing back a concept from KSS1: *Korlon*, the home system of the Precursors.

Not as a direct 1:1 return, and not as a simple copy of the old concept, but as something reworked properly for KSS2. Same root idea, much stronger execution.

More on that later.

Thank you all.
