Sims is now fixed and should work fine with cc, but...
As most of you may already know, since the big update and my most recent post, EA has released a patch update to fix the issues with CC .
However...
My game is still completely broken and not loading.. Even the 50/50 method doesnt work either which never happened to me before.
So yea... I'll be back once my game is fixed but for now I cant do anything.. just wanted to let yall know.

note: one of yall commented that EA will release another patch update sometime this week to help this issue !

Hi! What helped me was to redownload all the CC again--I know its not a great solution but it worked !

no! the most recent update fixed all the issues. But if u r still having problems it could be because of outdated mods maybe?

it works now !!! i just spent hours playing last night with over 3k mods :) if in doubt, just give it another week or so - thats what i did <3
some of my script mods don't even work ;; or worse, making me keep going on the map bubble page instead of able to play, i hope your game gets fixed soon
honestly the royalty and legacy update corrupted my save so I was in the same boat as you until I just gave up, deleted my save and had to start all over again. Hopefully the patch fixes your game though
Hai! I’m back, I opened EA and saw there’s a new update. I’m pretty sure it’s this one: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/update-3-23-2026 My UI mods are a bit broken and splitting buttons in-game, so I’ll try to find updates for those. If you’re unsure about updating, it might be best to wait, but I updated and my game finally launched after not working since last Wednesday. Some people are still saying their CC and mods aren’t loading, so make sure to update your script mods and remove any broken CC. Also check The Sims Twitter for more updates. If you’re really unsure, don’t update yet, there could still be bugs 💓
my game wasn't loading and stayed on a black screen until I deleted all my weerbesu mods and it fixed it, but your issue could be smth different idk. I really hope they completely fix this bc half of my mods folder now needs updated and the creators are still working to get their mods fixed and now I can only do cas :(
Unfortunately, in my case, after removing all mods and testing the cc, my game still doesn't work </3 but I hope ur comment can help someone else! thank u for sharing this information <3
Even vanilla players re having launch issues right now, so it could just be the game not wanting to load because it doesn’t feel like loading 😂.
ngl I thought this might be the case cuz the game sometimes loaded and sometimes didnt w certain cc so Im like what exactly is breaking the game??? there might just be a problem w EA servers or app or something. Maybe the last patch update caused the game to break in another way as it usually does
For me it worked to remove my CAS mods like: extra columns, CAS background and main menu override. Also removed more traits chingyu. After that it worked!
unfortunately for me it didnt </3 even build-by CCs are stopping my game from launching currently..
More than half of my CC is broken and my game won’t launch. The 50/50 method isn’t working for me either :c I can’t really play without my mods and CC, so I really hope this gets fixed this week.
