RePlayOS 1.4.0 Status & ETA
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share a quick update on the next version of the system. The reason it’s taking longer than expected comes down to two main things. First, I’m completely swamped with my main job right now. And second, this next release is going to be a big one. It includes a ton of fixes, updates, and quality-of-life improvements, so there’s a lot to finish and test properly.
My goal is to have it out before the end of this month, so stay tuned. This release is especially important because it will act as the foundation for some major internal changes coming to RePlayOS. That means I need to make sure everything that needs to be there is included and stable.

The FBNEO arcade folder breaks when accessing it, what to do? replay os 1.4
MAME and fbneo folders not working on 1.4.0 with external SSD. Several users have reported it, but haven’t seen any feedback yet.
It doesn’t work even from the internal SD card. I’m using a very fast 512GB SD and it crashes with both folders (MAME and Final Burn), while with version 1.30 there are no issues — in fact I downgraded. It might be related to the number of items rather than their location. we'll wait for a patch release. Thanx

Someone figured out how to get multiple guncon 2s working as well as adjusting brightness to make more light gun games work. They posted their findings over in telegram. Would it be possible to get those fixes implemented to the official release?
Hi all, a fast question : is it better a PI5 4 GB or it is enough a 2 GB version ? I mean, as ReplayOS is very light and fast maybe 2 GB it is enough but for the future releases, it could be need a larger memory.... or not......Thanks

Guys I’m using V1.00 and I have issues playing ps1 how can I swap the disc, is there any other version to fix this problem? Or how can I swap disc1 to disc2 for example. Thanks RTA btw
Many bug fixes and new additions were made since v1.0.0. Please install the latest available v1.3.0 or wait until the next v1.4.0

Hello, Thanx for this news! The update 1.40 is Made for a new fresh install or can be applied to actual installation as a System update ?
This is a good question...If I'm not wrong, there is not the system update option into ReplayOS....Maybe, it is available for Patreon user only but it is a speculation.... RTA can you advise about that ? Thanks
