Status Update #63 - May 23, 2026

In case it needs mentioning, Duvessa is, in fact, not addressing Branko, but a hapless offscreen victim. XD

Remember how I said last week that my process might involve making predictions that are ultimately wrong? And how I also said that I'll know for sure whether or not I'll be done with writing in the month of May as of this status update? Surprise surprise, I was wrong! I'm thinking it's a probably not but maybe yes situation; I have roughly 12-15 more scenes to write before I'm done with this release, and it's all a matter of whether I can get that done in just over a week. Either way, I hope you guys can see that the finish line is in sight. And, as much as it irritates me how long this update has taken to get out, people can maybe take some solace in the fact that I could have everything on my end 100% completed and the game still wouldn't be ready to put out because one of my artists has been taking an obscenely long time to get me a CG. This alone is why the CG part of the weekly list has not said 100% for weeks, now.

I'm also gonna be pushing all that stuff about the refined tiers and the 4k version back another week as I didn't really get a chance to work on it in the past week. Writing takes first priority, and I've been spending all my dev time working on that. As for the next bonus scene, it will be out sometime in the next seven days. The art is 100% done, so it's just a matter of me finishing the writing and getting it out.

Coding: 0% done
CGs: All either made or in the process of being made
Animations: 1 more scene to do (yes, it is of the CG that is taking eons)
Background Art: 100% Ready
Music: 100% Ready
