Status Update #50 - February 23, 2026

Since last week's update was so late, I figured I'd wait an extra day to balance things out.

I'd like to thank everyone who gave me feedback about my post from last week; after careful consideration, I've decided on a new gameplan. Episode 2 is now going to be delivered in three parts rather than two, with part two releasing in April or May at the latest. Part three will almost certainly not take as long to produce as prior releases after that. However I'd like to stress that all three parts will be around the same length. Several people expressed concern with updates being too insignificant or short, concerns I share equally. At the same time, everyone has been pretty satisfied by how long part one ended up being, so you have my assurance that this one will take just as long to read.

In other news, Jezebel is now live as part of the Steam Next Fest! Hopefully this leads to a big leap in terms of exposure! I'm also about done writing this month's bonus scene, but my artist hasn't gotten back to me yet in terms of the art, so expect it to arrive later rather than sooner, possibly even creeping into the month of March. That being said, I'll try to make it up to you with an earlier bonus scene release next time!

Oh, and I'm still working on the game, of course 😅. I've written some really good stuff this week, and the new release plan has taken a huge weight off of my back in terms of figuring out how everything is going to come together.
