20,000 subscribers!
Well, 8 days ago, we were thrilled to make the milestone of 10,000 subscribers. After the last video went crazy at 2.2 million views, we are delighted to welcome the new 10,000 viewers to FRS. Perhaps the title The Nude Latitude had something to do with it, we're not sure but to show our marketing savvy, our next video is...
Boat Provisioning (and other stuff)!!!
Seriously though, it was a case of finding the grain amongst the chaff and we have had so many great comments from all of you. Our audience continues to warm our hearts with their encouragement and we look forward to sharing this great journey with you all.
Our best wishes to all of you and your loved ones.

I'm so happy for your success Nudity - who would have thought. You are so Naked already. don't read into that. my take larfin out loud LOL. best part about your story is that it is basic and true - the real stuff, you find it - its real and it is brave and cautious - like crocs they see you as dinner - problem solved. all the best and well I'm so proud of your success being yourselves.
thanks Peter we just keep it simple and our audience can take from it what they will
Woohoo! The secret is out....congrats!
It looks like you are in prime “noseeums” country. I am passing along advice I gave RAN Sailing. You may already be aware, but if not, it is another tool for your tool box: I know the horrors of noseeums having camped in Florida. My solution was burning insect incense. In the US it goes by the name "Pic." In confined areas, burn about 1 1/2" to 2" of the incense. That will usually last the night. Don't burn the whole coil, because it can cause throat irritation. It won't kill the buggers, but it stops them from biting. I always have it in my camper. I use this burner: https://www.amazon.com/Coghlans-8688-Mosquito-Coil-Holder/dp/B000HACTSY/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1523959143&sr=1-3&keywords=Mosquito+Coils+Holder&dpID=516qisFFUlL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
Thanks Robert. We have found Mozzie Coils to be very effective against them when placed in the companion way. Our screens are also good against their entry. When we are exploring in the dinghy or along river banks is when they can be rough. We hate to use personal repellant too much so we get hit a little then.
That's a quick jump Congrats! Keepin' at this rate and you'll be buying a 50 footer and sailing the seven seas!
There are a couple of 37 footers that are always on my mind!
I knew it! So happy for you kids. Keep your down home style. I’m very pleased I started watching you right at the beginning. Now I can tell my grandkids “Pascal and Troy? Heck I started watching them when they were little fish!”.
Oh I don't imagine too much will change Scott. We have simple tastes.
Terrific news! 2.2 milllion views!!! Whoa! Let's hope it translates to some more Patrons... I wonder if FRS would lose its edge on a mega-yacht?? "oh...and Geves, please bring today's papers..."
...and tell Forsythe to warm up the Blackwatch. Pascale wants a Marlin for the smoker again
Congratulations! You have one of the best channels and deserve the recognition.
We like to think we're rewarded with our audience.
Was watching some of your earlier episodes and saw you don't have the patreon account link in the description. When you have time I think you can edit it in (sorry, can't tell you how, but I've heard it is doable)
That's s good point Steve, we'll look into it
I think you should get used to it, Troy and Pas have an honest truth to them, a love of life, and adventure (that does not require hair on fire action to portray.
The viral bit jumped your trajectory ahead by a couple/few months, but the quality of your videos is what made it all inevitable. Still, it's a great bit of luck. Your the top trending channel on the sailing channels website now, which will get you more viewers, which means you will be written about more, on more people's lists of favorite sailing channels, etc. Really great, and will make it happen faster, but it's the efforts you put in right from the beginning, when you had few people watching, that has made it all happen. Just keep doing what you have been, keep it simple and genuine.
Simple and genuine is what we do. Thanks for the info about the word out there on the net, that's great news.
Well done and very well deserved. That seems incredibly quick to get to 20k compared to some, but the old adage " quality sells" is so true in your guy work. Just keep doing what you're doing!
Well deserved!!! I predict that is only the beginning ... you bring an honesty to your videos that people are looking for.
That's an amazing jump. Congratulations guys.
