How to Service the Drag on your Spinning Reel

Hi patrons! This is a little BONUS video that I put together after Troy finished servicing the drag on his spinning reel. It's probably something you should consider doing if you haven't done it in a while, or at least familiarising yourself with, before you go remote cruising. Happy fishing and fair winds, Pascale

Another use for this kind of 'slipping adjustable clutch' or Drag, is in some of the Commercial Ironing machines that I service, they are used in the drive line of the Feeder assembly, basically the operator clips the first two corners of a sheet in to two clips that are then driven apart until at a pre-ordained tension set by the clutch, and only then fed into the machine. Too loose and you get creases, too tight and it'll tear the sheet. Exactly the same internal construction as your reel though, I wish I'd seen this video 15 Years ago!.
