Dev Update 15
Hello everyone!
We’ve made a ton of great progress in the last month, and we are thrilled to finally announce the release date for the Jun Update.
Afterwards, we'll share some final screenshots and walk you through all the work we’ve accomplished since our last Dev Update blog last month.
1. Jun Update (V0.3.0) - Release Date
Official Release Schedule:
Patreon Early Access: Friday, July 3rd @ 3 PM ET
Free Public Release (Itch/Steam): August 1st @ 3 PM ET
Creating Edgefield's very first Character Update has been incredibly rewarding. We've learned so much about this process and continue to find new and better ways to develop this game. It's been fun to dive deeper into our main character's relationship with Jun as they both navigate the early days of their freshman year together.
We cannot wait for you to get your hands on this update. Whether you choose to develop feelings for Jun or you decide to just remain friends, we believe that you'll really enjoy it. Thank you so much for your support of Edgefield. <33
2. New Menu UI
Kicks finished creating a brand new Menu UI. The design has been fully overhauled to better match the photography theme of our main character Elliot/Ella.

4. Additional Progress
In the last month we've also wrapped up the following!
Final Animations: We’ve finalized all animations for this update, and we think you’re going to really like how these turned out.
Sound Effects: New Sound FX, music tracks, and ambient sounds have been implemented in the new scenes and locations to help deepen the atmosphere.
5. Playtesting
A massive shout out to everyone who helped us test this new update. They crushed this round of playtests and helped us fix so many bugs and suggested a ton of improvements! Their feedback has been instrumental in getting this update ready for launch in such a short amount of time. Here's a quick look at some of the feedback we've gotten in our playtester survey!
6. Looking Ahead: The Trent Update
While the team has been putting the final touches on the Jun Update release, work on the Trent Update is already well underway! Writing is nearly finished with only a couple more scenes to go! We are almost ready to begin the first scene assembly pass and art production has officially kicked off with one of the first backgrounds we'll be adding.

Even the minor details are great, like the taskbar and menu design. The new characters and overall atmosphere are amazing as well. I can't wait to see more of what this team creates.
I am looking forward to the Jun update a lot. Not just for her scenes but also to understand how those updates are working. I still think it is a Bad Idea to introduce seperate characters instead of progressing a whole Story but I hope that update will prove me wrong.
Are we going to get new sex app characters?
I’m so stoked for Jun’s update I’m off July 3 so I’m going to be playing it, the menu UI looks wicked 🤘🏻😁 Undercover Pop Games team is killing it this game.
I'm dead ass hoping we get a Peter sex scene I know this update is not meant for him or other characters but sometimes it created do like to add extra scenes for other characters and a specific update so I'm hoping he got some more dialogue before his actual update and that might take months because the Tyler update is next

I wonder, do you plan on having a faster progress soon? After all, you have to do guys and girls. Lesbian, gay and hetero. Thats a lot, and Jun alone already took months. Its just a question about realistic expectations. Also, for example i only play as a girl, and want to date girls. With the speed right now, that means i get to date maybe two girls a year. Thats not really worth spending money for, right? I want your game to suceed, but a part of me is getting deeply skeptical.
I agree this is taking too long for me to continue to have interest. I love the game but it is taking a bit longer than I thought it would have to keep upgrading and having to wait another whole month after the update is done just to play it.

Ahh the football field. Already looking forward to the Trent update! How did you get playtesters? Need more female PC testers? Also the new menu UI looks very good!
We already had some from previous updates but will be looking for more for the Trent update!

I don't understand how you manage so much with such a small team, the quality of this game is ridiculously high. It would be nice if at the start of the game you could also select if your character was dominant, submissive, or vanilla which would then affect his sexual relationships and sex scenes in the game.

I've been playing Edgefield for a long time, and I've never had the courage to leave a comment here, and since I can't afford a Patreon subscription in general, I got the Steam demo and I couldn't subscribe to the wonderful team at Undercover Pop Games, even though the community has been expanding a lot lately and the game is starting to make itself felt in the rankings and its unique features, and so for now I've written a few comments on Patreon but not much, and since I work more than 9 hours a day and can barely support myself when I have that little free time, I play Edgefield because with it I can express all my freedom and those loves that I would have wanted in life and didn't come, leaving me alone, and so if I could shake hands with this wonderful team I would do it, and I would pay to do it, because if I'm not totally alone in life I have to thank them, good luck, for everything❤️
