[Volume 2 Chapter 1] When I confessed to the girl I liked, her twin sister came along as a bonus

Chapter 1: The Twins Want Their Friends’ Blessings

Before we knew it, early summer had passed—

It’s now July, a new month.

June was so packed with events after the uniform change that each day felt endlessly long. But no matter how it feels, time marches on mercilessly. July has arrived, and final exams are coming up soon.

Our school isn’t some elite academy—just an average one, maybe a bit above average. Still, over eighty percent of students go on to university. I’m aiming for college, too, and my parents aren’t opposed. We run a modest ramen shop, but they say they can afford to send both me and my sibling to college. A public university with lower tuition would be ideal, and I’m fine with that. I’m pretty good at studying, so I can aim for a decent public school.

“…”

I’m at my desk, textbook open. I’m not constantly flirting with the twins at school, you know.

“Haha, for real? That’s insane, you’d die doing something that dumb!” Yuzuki’s voice rings out.

No idea what they’re talking about, but she sounds like she’s having fun. A group of bubbly girls surrounds her, laughing and chatting.

Even if I’m not flirting, my ears naturally pick up the twins’ voices.

“Really? They’re okay after pulling a stunt like that?” Fuuka says.

“…”

I thought it was another girl talking with Yuzuki’s group, but it’s Fuuka. She’s sitting apart from Yuzuki, surrounded by her own group of quieter, studious girls. Like attracts like, I guess—Yuzuki and Fuuka each gravitate toward friends who match their vibe.

“Haha, that video’s gonna get taken down, isn’t it?”

“Fufu, won’t a video like that get deleted?”

Despite being in separate groups across the room, the twins are oddly in sync. They’re probably not even talking about the same thing. They just have this weird twin telepathy sometimes.

“Hey, Maki, check out this video,” Yuzuki says, hopping up and plopping onto my desk.

“Look, it’s an experiment video. What do you think happens next?”

“Y-Yuzuki, maybe don’t sit there…”

She crosses her long legs, her already short skirt riding up even higher. Having her thighs this close is—

“Sounds interesting. Can I see, too?” Fuuka chimes in.

“…”

Before I know it, Fuuka’s behind me, hands on my shoulders, leaning in so close I can feel her ample chest against my back. Thighs in front, breasts behind…

“Hey, you two, maybe back off a bit—”

“What’s the big deal? Why’re you embarrassed? We’re dating,” Yuzuki says.

“It’s cute that you’re shy, but since we’re dating, it’s fine to be close, right?” Fuuka adds.

“…Yeah, you’re right.”

I give in quickly. Being sandwiched by two gorgeous twins is a privilege unique to Maki Nakaba. We’ve already declared we’re dating—no hiding or running away. Well, I was planning to keep it under wraps, but I didn’t expect Yuzuki to announce it so boldly.

Even so, is it okay to be this openly affectionate in class? No one’s approaching or saying anything—probably because they’re unsure how to react. It’s not just my tough-guy vibe; nobody knows if our three-way relationship is serious or a joke. I’d struggle to respond if someone called us out, so this distance is kind of convenient…

“Hey, Maki-kun,” a slightly rough voice calls out.

It’s got a bit of edge, not unlike my own voice, which people often say sounds intimidating. I feel a bit of kinship. Not that she’s rough around the edges, but Takaya Riina is more gyaru than yankee. I’m not a yankee either—whatever, never mind me.

While Yuzuki is all bright and bubbly, Riina has a slight air of intimidation. Short black hair with red highlights, flashy by any standard. Her blouse is pink instead of white, and her skirt is, of course, short.

Her lightly made-up face is gorgeous, and though her chest isn’t as large, her tall, slender frame gives her a killer figure. She’s a beauty who rivals Yuzuki and Fuuka and is just as popular at school. She’s part of Yuzuki’s group and seems to be her best friend.

“What’s up, Rii?” Yuzuki asks.

“Is something wrong…?” Fuuka follows.

Fuuka may seem reserved, but she’s not fazed by the bold Riina.

“Wrong? It’s nothing but wrong! Both twins going after one guy? Am I the only one freaking out here!?”

That’s exactly right, but saying so would be like pouring fuel on the fire.

“…Takaya, how’re your grades?”

“Huh? Grades?”

When I interject, Takaya looks puzzled.

I get that she’d want to make a fuss about her best friend Yuzuki’s boyfriend, but I’d prefer to keep school life as peaceful as possible. Sorry, Takaya, but I’m changing the subject.

“Well, finals are coming up, right? Just wondering if you’ve got time to worry about us.”

“…How about you, Maki-kun?”

“Pretty decent, I’d say.”

That’s an understatement—my grades are near the top. Despite my rough appearance, like I’m always picking fights, I study hard. I’m no genius like my little sister, Wakaba, but my head’s not half bad.

“Rii’s grades are kinda meh, right? Not much motivation there,” Yuzuki says.

“Don’t spill that, Yuzu! It’s not that I’m unmotivated—it’s just that dance practice wears me out, so I can’t study!” Takaya retorts.

Oh, right. Takaya’s seriously into dance, even attending a dance school. I once ended up sneaking into the girls’ changing room with Yuzuki and saw Takaya dancing. Even to an amateur, her steps looked impressively polished.

“You’re pretty good at dancing, Takaya,”

“Huh? I’ve never shown you my—oh!”

Takaya’s face flushes bright red.

Crap, I let something slip. She must’ve remembered I saw her in the changing room. She forgave me for that, but it’s still embarrassing for her, no doubt.

“F-Forget about that already—ugh, fine! Sorry for saying anything extra!”

She doesn’t need to apologize. Takaya turns away with a huff and returns to her seat.

“Sorry about that, Maki,” Yuzuki says.

“Nah, it’s fine…”

I get why Takaya, as Yuzuki’s best friend, would want to grill the guy dating both twins. No complaints here. For now, it seems I’ve dodged the issue. I feel a bit bad for Takaya, though…

“Rii’s not a bad person—she’s just a worrier. Maybe she thinks I’m being fooled or something,” Yuzuki says.

“I don’t think you’re the type to get fooled,” I reply.

Not that she’s the type to fool others, either. She might look flighty and capable of some mischief, but you can’t judge people by appearances.

“Maki-san would never deceive anyone, especially Yuzu-nee. But me? I wouldn’t mind being fooled by you, Maki-san,” Fuuka says with a teasing smile.

“…Hey now.”

Your voice carries, you know! That’s only going to fuel more misunderstandings—or rather, wary looks from everyone.

“I know Takaya’s not a bad person,”

Just the other day, I shook hands with her to get on good terms. Since she’s Yuzuki’s best friend, it’s in my interest to build a decent relationship with her. But—

It’s no surprise that people look at me and the Tsubasa twins with suspicion. Even so, Yuzuki, Fuuka, and I decided to date as a trio. We’ll clear up the skepticism little by little. For now, though, it’s study time for finals.

And so, the exam period passed without much fanfare.

Every day after school, the twins and I holed up in our rooms, studying. Fuuka and I are diligent, and even Yuzuki, who looks like a carefree gyaru, buckled down when it came to studying. It was a bit surprising, but I already knew she wasn’t as flighty as her appearance suggested, so it wasn’t that shocking. The study sessions and exam period flew by as we sat at our desks.

Once finals were over—

“Mmm, chu, mmm… ha… mm♡”

“W-Woah, Fuuka, you’re pretty intense this morning…!”

“Am I…? But finals are finally over, so let me do this a lot… ham♡”

The morning after exams ended, I’m sitting on the sofa in the Tsubasa family’s living room. Fuuka, dressed in a breezy sleeveless white dress, kneels in front of me, lightly brushing back her long black hair with one hand. The other hand firmly grips my penis, her lips brushing the tip, sucking gently, sometimes taking it deep.

“Ugh… Fuuka…!”

“Mmm…!♡”

I finish quickly, releasing everything into Fuuka’s mouth. I always mean to pull out at the end, but it feels too good, and I end up letting her take it all.

“Haa… gulp…”

Fuuka swallows, her face flushed, and opens her mouth to show me she’s taken it all.

“Hehe, that was a lot… You were really excited today, huh, Maki-san?”

“Was I…? Well, exams are over, so I’m feeling pretty free.”

I pat Fuuka’s head gently. It’s a bit like treating her like a kid, but she seems happy. Apparently, her “I swallowed” display is partly so I’ll do this.

“Want to use my mouth more, Maki-san…?” Fuuka asks, kissing the tip lightly and looking up at me with teasing eyes. Her tongue flicks playfully, tickling me.

“I could keep going as long as you want…?”

“Yeah… school’s on break now that exams are done.”

Our school gives us a break after finals. Students get to recover from the exhaustion, and teachers can focus on grading. The teachers probably had it rough during the exam period, and even before that with making the tests. They might need the break more than we do. I bet the two Yamada-senseis are grumbling while grading right now.

“Hey, hey, as much as you want to keep going, breakfast comes first,” Yuzuki says.

“Whoops…”

Yuzuki’s in a loose-collared T-shirt and shorts, an apron tied over it, hands on her hips like she’s in charge. I’m living the high life—every morning, one of the twins makes breakfast while the other… well, takes care of me like this.

“I’ll let you use my mouth later, Maki♡,” Yuzuki says.

“Nah… I want to use both your mouths at once.”

“God, Maki, you’re so greedy!” Yuzuki laughs.

“I like doing it with Yuzu-nee together♡,” Fuuka adds.

The twins easily accept my indulgent suggestion. High life? This is beyond that—it’s perfection. But first, breakfast.

“Let’s eat before it gets cold,”

“Yep, do it,” Yuzuki replies, giving me a quick chu kiss before heading back to the kitchen.

Fuuka and I follow her to the dining area. The delicious aroma from the kitchen is irresistible.

“I made a ton today, so eat up and get your energy back,” Yuzuki says with a suggestive wink.

Since I’ll be using her mouth later, I’d better eat plenty to keep my stamina up. Breakfast is lavish: French toast, sunny-side-up eggs, sausages, salad, and soup.

“Thanks for the meal. Whew, that was delicious,”

“You’re welcome. You eat so heartily in the morning—it’s worth cooking for,” Yuzuki replies.

“I was raised to gratefully finish whatever’s served.”

The Maki family runs a ramen shop called “Shin Ryu,” a typical neighborhood diner. My dad’s a rough-around-the-edges guy, not one for lectures, but he’s strict about food. Since I was a kid, he’s drilled into me: don’t waste food, don’t complain about someone’s cooking, and pickiness is weakness. Growing up in a food business, I’ve got no issue valuing food.

“That’s good upbringing. You’ve turned out pretty well, Maki,” Yuzuki says.

“Not quite on par with you high-class ladies, though.”

Yuzuki may look like a total gyaru, but her manners are impeccable. Even the way she handles a knife and fork is worlds apart from me. Living together, it’s clear the twins have flawless etiquette.

“We’re just normal. The Tsubasa family lets kids grow freely,” Fuuka says.

“Maybe… yeah, probably.”

They let two high school sisters live alone in a condo, and they know I’m here, too. That’s pretty lenient, to say the least.

“It’s an era of individuality. Strict education isn’t everything—oh, right. How’d you do on the tests, Maki?” Yuzuki asks.

“Jumping to that topic now?”

From upbringing to tests, apparently.

“I did alright. Self-graded, but I’m probably well above average.”

The tests just ended yesterday, so they haven’t been returned, but I can estimate the average.

“Haha, you’re such a diligent guy, Maki. You actually self-grade?” Yuzuki teases.

“Of course. Taking a test without checking your answers is pointless.”

While the memory’s fresh, checking your answers helps you learn. Even if I’m confident I won’t need a retake, I’m curious about the results. Self-grading only has upsides.

“Well, you are good at studying. People seem surprised by that,” Yuzuki says.

“Can’t exactly argue with that,” I say with a wry smile.

With my tough-guy vibe, people probably think I’m some delinquent running the school behind the scenes. Me studying hard is probably more surprising than a yankee picking up a stray cat in the rain.

“But you’re good at studying, too, Yuzuki. Doesn’t that surprise people?” I counter.

“Smart gyarus aren’t that rare. We’re vain, you know. We don’t want to look dumb,” she replies.

“Huh…”

Yuzuki’s not just a pretty face—she’s athletic and has high overall specs. Living with her, I’ve learned she’s a pro at housework, too. Dating a perfect beauty like her—am I dreaming?

“Wait, hold on. Before we talk about me and Yuzuki, what about Fuuka?”

“Hm? What about me?” Fuuka asks.

“I heard you talking. How’d you do on the tests? You just transferred, so the curriculum’s different from your old school. Any accommodations?”

“Oh, the teachers mentioned something about accommodations, but I just thanked them and declined,” Fuuka says.

“Take the accommodations!” I exclaim.

“But I think Yuzu-nee and I got the same score.”

“…Even with these tough conditions?”

Yuzuki and Fuuka, the Tsubasa sisters, are “fated twins.” It sounds like occult nonsense, but—

They score the same on tests. They get the same questions right and wrong. They’ve even been suspected of cheating, which is understandable. They stood up for the first time on the same day, spoke their first words on the same day, were saved by the same guy on the same day—and fell for the same guy. Fated twins—they act in sync without even realizing it, often seeming strange to others.

“Well, to spill the beans, we’ve been studying together even when we were at different schools,” Yuzuki says.

“We’d share our textbooks and notes. I’ve been looking at Yuzu-nee’s stuff for a while,” Fuuka adds.

“Oh, got it…”

Good to know the fated twins thing isn’t completely supernatural. They might have some telepathy-like connection, but they can’t know things they’ve never learned. For example, they wouldn’t know the Battle of Sekigahara was in 1600 unless they studied it. Yuzuki knowing a fact doesn’t mean Fuuka automatically does, too. That’d be too creepy, so I’m a bit relieved.

“So, does that mean Yuzuki could take Fuuka’s old school—Shuuka Girls’—tests and get the same score?” I ask.

“Probably. We basically share knowledge. Anyway, Fuuka’s fine with the tests,” Yuzuki says.

“That’s a relief. I didn’t think you two would need retakes, but still.”

Fuuka passed a tough transfer exam to get here, so she’s clearly capable.

“Hmm, do you dislike girls who aren’t good at studying, Maki?” Yuzuki asks.

“Huh? What’s with that question?”

“Just chatting. I realized I’ve never asked about your type,” she says, grinning mischievously.

She’s probably more interested in teasing me than hearing my preferences. I did confess to her, after all. Still, it’s not a bad question to think about.

“My type, huh…”

Definitely someone like Yuzuki. I’ve always liked her, so that’s a given. I’ve never really cared about brains or specs, though. Looks? I’d be lying if I said they didn’t matter, but it’s not just that. Yuzuki’s bright personality, dazzling smile, and easygoing nature—she even calls a barely-acquainted classmate like me by my first name—those are the things I like.

“…Maki, you’re thinking pretty hard about this,” Yuzuki says.

“Nah, it’s just hard to put into words.”

“But since you confessed to Yuzu-nee, you like girls like her, right?” Fuuka says, leaning closer and whispering.

She nailed it!

“Your type’s probably, like, ‘bright personality with a dazzling smile,’ right?” Yuzuki says.

“And someone who’s chill enough to call a barely-acquainted classmate by their first name… maybe?” Fuuka adds.

“You two aren’t just fated twins or dual twins—you’re reading my mind!” I exclaim.

Also, Yuzuki’s got some confidence to praise herself like that!

“Of course, Fuuka’s my type now, too,” I say, blushing despite my tough-guy look.

Saying “I like you” outright is tough, but the twins don’t seem to mind, so I lean into that.

“But you’re definitely into flashy gyaru types, right, Maki-san?” Fuuka teases.

“Uh… now that you put it like that, I’m not sure.”

Gyaru lover? I hesitate to agree. Honestly, I’m a bit intimidated by other gyaru high school girls. As someone not used to girls, the bold vibe of gyarus can feel overwhelming.

“Speaking of gyarus, is Takaya-san your type, too?” Fuuka asks.

“Takaya? Well… she’s pretty, yeah.”

Yuzuki’s friends are all high-caliber girls, and Takaya Riina is undeniably top-tier among them. But after accidentally seeing her in the changing room—forgiven or not—it’s awkward to talk about. She’s also the only classmate bold enough to confront me about my relationship with the twins, and she probably has a lot to say. Finals gave me a reprieve from her questions, but it’s just a delay.

“Speaking of Rii, I was thinking—” Yuzuki starts, but the intercom chimes.

“Guests? That’s rare for this place…”

As far as I know, the Tsubasa household rarely gets visitors. The twins use online shopping a lot, but packages go to the lobby’s delivery box. Since they’re great cooks, they don’t order delivery. Surprisingly, none of their friends have visited yet. They don’t seem to invite people over.

“Got it, I’ll answer. Hello, who’s this?” Yuzuki says.

“Hey, it’s Takaya. Is that you, Yuzu?” comes the reply.

“Huh? Rii? What’s up, coming over so suddenly? Hold on, I’ll let you in.”

Yuzuki operates the intercom to unlock the lobby door.

Takaya’s here… Takaya’s here!?

Talk about speak of the devil—

“Wait, hold up! Takaya’s coming here?”

As far as I know, this is the first time Takaya’s visited the Tsubasa place.

“Fuuka, do we have any snacks?” Yuzuki asks.

“I think we have some gifted cookies somewhere…” Fuuka replies.

“No, no, before we worry about snacks, we need to figure this out!” I say, stopping the twins as they head to the kitchen.

“What do we do? Should I hide in my room?” I ask.

“Huh? Why would you hide?” Yuzuki says.

“Why would you need to hide?” Fuuka echoes.

“…Dating twins is already causing a stir. If people find out we’re living together, it’s not just double the shock—it’s way worse.”

Common sense says high schoolers living together is unthinkable. Add the twin factor, and people will think not just me, but Yuzuki and Fuuka, are out of their minds.

“Anyway, I’m hiding. I’ll keep quiet, so you two handle it smoothly,”

“You can hide, Maki, but it’s pointless,” Yuzuki says.

“Pointless?” I ask.

“Takaya-san is Yuzu-nee’s best friend. We can’t keep the living-together thing a secret forever. Plus, Yuzu-nee’s not great at lying,” Fuuka says.

“Wait, you’re not seriously planning to tell Takaya we’re living together, are you?” I ask.

“That’s exactly what we’re gonna do,” Yuzuki says.

“That’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Fuuka echoes.

“…”

Perfect sync, but not helping!

“We can’t hide it forever, and I was planning to tell Rii everything eventually,” Yuzuki says.

“I’m okay with it, too. If it’s going to come out eventually, it’s easier to just tell her now,” Fuuka adds.

“…Am I the only one headed for hell here?”

For Takaya, Yuzuki is her best friend.

Fuuka is a transfer student and Yuzuki’s sister. I doubt Takaya would come down hard on either of them—but me? She probably wouldn’t hold back. Unlike before, Takaya’s not scared of me anymore. She’s bound to grill me about why I’m dating both Yuzuki and Fuuka at the same time, and on top of that, living with them. This is definitely a continuation of her classroom interrogation.

“Well, yeah…” I mutter.

“Maki?” Yuzuki says.

“I can’t keep dodging forever. Alright then—”

I rethink quickly. I should act like a man. Hiding? That’s not me—not manly. It’s not some grand policy, and it might be old-fashioned, but I try to be “manly.” No running or hiding this time. I dodged her in the classroom, but now I need to face her honestly.

“Got it. Let’s come clean to Takaya. She’s a good person—she’ll get it.”

“That’s the spirit, Maki!” Yuzuki says.

“That’s our Maki-san!” Fuuka adds.

The twins nod in approval. With all three of us on the same page, hiding’s no longer an option.

Takaya Riina steps into the Tsubasa household’s entrance.

Seeing not just Yuzuki and Fuuka but also a tough-looking guy greeting her—

“What the—?” she gasps.

“Whoa, careful!”

She drops the paper bag she’s holding—likely a gift—with a thud. Shocked enough to drop something? That’s straight out of a manga. I leap forward and catch the bag just before it hits the floor. My reflexes surprise even me.

“Sorry, Takaya. Didn’t mean to startle you,” I say, stepping up from the entrance while checking the bag. “This food? It didn’t hit the ground, but is it okay?”

“Y-Yeah, it’s cream puffs, so they’re fine—wait, that’s not the point! Why’s Maki-kun here… like, visiting with me? I just came to hang out… right?”

“Nah, you know that’s not it, don’t you?”

I’m in a plain white T-shirt and shorts, an ultra-casual outfit. Fine for a quick convenience store run, but not for “visiting my girlfriend’s place.” Takaya must’ve realized instantly: this guy lives here. That’s why she was shocked enough to drop the cream puffs.

“Let’s talk inside. Standing around here’s kinda weird,”

“…” Takaya nods slightly.

She’s wearing a tight, cropped T-shirt and hot pants, a bold outfit that somehow feels more sporty than seductive. Come to think of it, this might be the first time I’ve seen her in casual clothes.

With that thought, the four of us move to the living room.

“Fuuka, could you make some tea? Everyone okay with tea? It’s hot out, so maybe iced tea?” Yuzuki suggests.

No objections, so Fuuka heads to the kitchen and returns with chilled iced tea, full of ice. We sip it, but no one touches the cream puffs Takaya brought—not yet. Yuzuki starts explaining everything, while Fuuka and I listen quietly. As her best friend, Yuzuki’s the right one to break the news to Takaya.

“Oh, right. Rii, come with me for a sec,” Yuzuki says, pulling Takaya out of the living room for a private chat.

They return and sit on the sofa, with Yuzuki in the center, flanked by the other two girls. I stand a bit apart, arms crossed.

“Yuzu, you’re serious…?” Takaya says.

“Dead serious. No point lying about this. I even showed you Maki’s room,” Yuzuki replies.

Right—to prove I live in this condo, they showed Takaya my room. Nothing embarrassing in there, so it’s fine, but there’s no passing this off as a prank or misunderstanding now. No turning back, which is what I wanted.

“It definitely looked like a guy’s room… but hold on, I need to process this,” Takaya says, chugging her iced tea without a straw. She could sip it slowly, but she’s clearly rattled.

“So… is it okay for high schoolers to live together like this?” she asks.

“That’s such a sensible question it almost feels novel,”

I expected her to be shocked, but I’m so used to this setup that it barely registers.

“I get what Rii’s saying. But we don’t want to let Maki get away,” Yuzuki says.

“We’re still mooching off our parents, but we’ve got this place to do what we want. Why not use that advantage?” Fuuka adds.

“You two are so calculated… I knew Yuzu was like that, but the little sister’s just as crafty at her core,” Takaya says, unsure if she’s impressed or exasperated. She’s still overwhelmed.

“Being compared to Yuzu-nee is kind of embarrassing,” Fuuka says.

“You’ve been told you’re alike a million times. Still shy about it?” I ask.

“I want to hear it a million or ten million times,” Fuuka replies.

“Totally get that!” Yuzuki chimes in.

“You do?!” I can’t help but retort.

What are they even talking about? Some twins might hate being called similar, but these sisters seem to love it. Even living with them and being affectionate every day, there’s still stuff I don’t get.

“But… even before the living-together thing, I still can’t wrap my head around it,” Takaya says.

“Hm? What’s that, Takaya?” I ask.

“You dating Yuzu and her sister. No matter how close twins are, that’s… cheating, isn’t it?”

“Ugh…” Her bluntness stings.

I decided to date both twins, but comments like that still hit hard.

“Accepting cheating? That’s unbelievable. Am I being pranked here?” Takaya says.

“Why would we prank you, Rii? There’s no point,” Yuzuki replies.

“Yeah, but… it’s not even a funny prank,” Takaya says.

“As if I’d pull some lame prank like that,” Yuzuki scoffs.

“Still… I just can’t accept it. My sense of normalcy is getting in the way.”

“Hmm…” I murmur.

Takaya’s point is valid, and I get where she’s coming from. If a friend—no one at this school, but still—told me, “I’m two-timing with twin beauties,” I wouldn’t believe it. I’d pity them for having such delusions. Takaya’s probably feeling something similar. If that’s the case, it’s on me to clear up her doubts.

“I’m definitely dating both Yuzuki and Fuuka. Honestly, at first, I only liked Yuzuki,”

“Well, yeah… you’re in the same class,” Takaya replies.

I didn’t even know Fuuka existed back then, so I couldn’t have liked her. I explain that to Takaya, too.

“So, that’s how I ended up as Yuzu-nee’s bonus,” Fuuka says.

“…A bonus? Out of all this, you’re the weirdest part, little sister,” Takaya says.

“A-Am I…? Not really,” Fuuka says, blushing again.

I don’t think Takaya’s praising her. Fuuka’s a bit offbeat, which is part of her charm.

“Takaya, just so you know, I don’t think of Fuuka as a bonus,”

“But I’m totally fine being the bonus!” Fuuka protests, sounding genuinely upset.

That’s just her quirk, so no point dwelling on it.

“Anyway, I’m seriously dating both twins. Yuzuki and Fuuka wanted this, and we’re living together because of it. Of course, I wanted to live together, too,”

“Hmm…” Takaya crosses her arms, tilting her head.

“When you say it so seriously with that face, I almost believe you…” she says.

“Hah, my face comes in handy sometimes,” I reply.

My tough look, often called scary, can add weight to my words, apparently.

“Hey, Rii,” Yuzuki says.

“Takaya-san,” Fuuka adds in unison.

“Maki’s devoted to us twins,” Yuzuki says.

“Maki-san’s devoted to us twins,” Fuuka echoes.

“That’s not devotion!” Takaya retorts.

I’ve got no comeback. By normal standards, it’s just cheating, no matter how you spin it. The twins’ clarification might’ve backfired.

“Maki-san,” Fuuka says, standing and walking over to me.

“Should we avoid mentioning that thing about you having two personalities?” she whispers.

“Oh…” I murmur.

She’s being considerate since I haven’t told anyone about this. I was born with “two personalities” in my head. They’re identical, not like the split personalities in fiction that switch out. The most I can do is hold a “mental conference” with my two selves. Even identical, they sometimes reach slightly different conclusions on the same issue. Right now, I’m mentally debating whether to tell Takaya about my dual personalities. The conclusion’s unanimous: no.

“It’s just in my head, so there’s no way to prove it. Telling Takaya would only confuse her more, especially since she’s already freaking out,” I whisper back.

“Makes sense,” Fuuka nods.

The twins easily believed in my dual personalities, probably because I’m in love with both of them, and they’re okay with being loved by me simultaneously. Expecting Takaya to believe it is too much—it’d just overwhelm her more.

“So, Maki-san’s ‘Double Mind’ stays our little secret,” Fuuka says.

“Double Mind…” I mutter.

There’s a term, “double bind,” right? Something about receiving contradictory messages that cause confusion—like being told “Follow my orders!” and “Don’t wait for orders!” at the same time. My sister Wakaba taught me about it; she’s been studying psychology, worried about my head. My dual personalities have nothing to do with a double bind, though.

“Sorry for the wait. Secret talk’s over,” Fuuka says, sitting back on the sofa.

“I didn’t hear it, but you weren’t exactly sneaky. That didn’t feel like a secret,” Takaya says.

“Being too secretive would be rude to Takaya-san,” Fuuka replies with a smile.

“Well… if all three of you are this serious, I guess I have to believe you,” Takaya says with a sigh. “It’s so wild, it’s hard to process…”

“Think of it this way, Rii. Back in the Edo period—or even Meiji—big-shot guys had multiple wives. Compared to that, Maki’s only got two, so it’s kinda cute, right?” Yuzuki says.

“Yuzu-nee’s the main wife, and I’m the concubine,” Fuuka adds.

“That’s not exactly convincing… and why’s the little sister so happy about it?” Takaya says.

Takaya seems both baffled and exasperated by our situation.

Being misunderstood or scoffed at was expected, of course.

“Well, maybe it’s a good thing the first person outside my family and the Tsubasa family to learn about our living situation is Yuzuki’s friend—you, Takaya,”

“What? Your families know, too? That’s shocking…” Takaya replies.

Crap, I might’ve said too much again—but it’s too late now. Might as well come clean to Takaya completely.

“Why’s it good that it’s me?” she asks.

“Because you trust Yuzuki, so you’re still listening calmly. Plus, you’re not that scared of me, so you don’t think I’m some criminal,” I explain.

“Well… I don’t think you’d force Yuzu and her sister into anything,” she says.

“That’s something, at least.”

Takaya gives a wry smile, and I return one. My tough-guy look makes people at school wary of me, even though I’ve done nothing wrong.

“Yuzu’s not the type to be forced into anything, and her sister seems pretty tough, too,” Takaya says.

“Fuuka, not sure if that’s a compliment or a diss,” Yuzuki laughs.

“Yuzu-nee, it’s probably that tsundere thing,” Fuuka says.

I think Takaya’s probably complimenting her, but she’s no tsundere.

“So, if other people find out we’re living together, will you back us up, Rii?” Yuzuki asks.

“I’ll cover for you, sure. It’s my friend, her sister, and their boyfriend, after all,” Takaya says.

She seems to be coming around, despite her confusion.

“But!” she adds, leaning forward and glaring at me. “Maki-kun, you’re serious about both of them, right? The little sister keeps calling herself a bonus, but if you’re just playing with one of them—”

“No way I’d say that,” I interrupt.

“Hmm…”

Takaya’s stubborn streak is surprising, and it seems even she can’t fully grasp our situation. Even after all this explaining, convincing her is tough. Proving our relationship is—

“Then, Rii, we’ll show you clear proof,” Yuzuki says.

“Proof?” Takaya asks.

“Right, Yuzu-nee. We need Takaya-san to trust us,” Fuuka adds.

“What are you planning…?” Takaya says.

“…”

I think I’m starting to get it. Am I syncing with Yuzuki and Fuuka’s thoughts, even though I’m not a twin?

Yuzuki and Fuuka stand from the sofa and walk over to me.

“Chu…” Yuzuki kisses my cheek.

“Mmm…” Fuuka does the same.

Then—

“Mmm, chu♡” Yuzuki kisses my lips.

“Nn, chu♡” Fuuka follows.

They take turns kissing my lips.

“Hey, Yuzu, little sister, what are you doing!?” Takaya exclaims.

“Showing you proof,” Yuzuki says.

“Proof that the three of us are together,” Fuuka adds.

They snuggle up to me, grinning at Takaya. Are they actually enjoying this?

“Also… not ‘little sister’—call me Fuuka. It feels distant when my sister’s best friend doesn’t use my name,” Fuuka says, stepping away to whisper to Takaya.

Maybe because a stunning girl like Fuuka got so close, Takaya’s face turns bright red.

“O-Okay… Fuuka, then. With a long ‘Fu’ sound. I use nicknames for close friends,” Takaya says.

“That’s nice! Yuzu-nee, I’m Fu, apparently,” Fuuka says.

“Cute! Maybe cuter than my ‘Yuzu,’” Yuzuki replies.

“…”

The girls are bonding right in front of me.

Takaya was so flustered earlier, but she’s recovering fast.

“No, wait! Yuzu, Fu! Why are you kissing in front of me!?” Takaya says.

“Maybe Rii hasn’t kissed anyone yet?” Yuzuki teases, grabbing Takaya’s chin and tilting it up.

“I-I’m focused on dance right now!” Takaya protests.

“Well, Maki was my first, too,” Yuzuki says.

“And, of course, Maki-san was my first, too, since I’m the bonus,” Fuuka adds.

“I didn’t ask for that info…” Takaya says, her eyes spinning, clearly flustered again.

I’m starting to feel a bit guilty for putting her through this.

“But we’ve already done way more than kissing…” Yuzuki adds.

“Yuzu, seriously!?” Takaya exclaims.

“Even I’m a bit embarrassed by this…” Fuuka says.

“What are you doing, Fu!?” Takaya cries.

Let’s recap. Takaya’s on the sofa. Yuzuki and Fuuka stand in front of her. Yuzuki pulls off her T-shirt, and Fuuka opens the front of her sleeveless dress. Their 90-centimeter G-cup breasts bounce free, swaying with the motion. No matter how many times I see them, their size is staggering, and the excitement never fades. Yuzuki’s in a gray sports bra, Fuuka in a prim white bra.

“Rii’s seen my bra plenty of times, but showing it off like this is kinda embarrassing,” Yuzuki says.

“If it’s embarrassing, don’t strip! Is it that hot!?” Takaya retorts.

“Maybe… or my body’s heating up,” Yuzuki says with a suggestive grin.

“Maki, come here,” she calls.

“R-Right,” I reply.

I step beside the twins, wrapping my arms around them.

“Eek, already?” Yuzuki squeals.

“Yah!♡ Just like always, Maki-san,” Fuuka says.

“Like always!?” Takaya gasps, growing more flustered.

I pull the twins close, subtly kneading their breasts. With them showing off like this, I can’t not touch them.

“Ahh!♡ Maki, you’re rougher than usual,” Yuzuki says.

“Mmm!♡ I like it this rough…♡” Fuuka adds.

“W-Wait, what is this!?” Takaya exclaims.

Takaya’s shocked, but I keep massaging their breasts. Maybe I’m more excited than usual. I’m not into being watched, but still…

“Nn… I can’t take it…♡ Maki, come on…♡” Yuzuki says, sliding her sports bra up to reveal her pink nipples.

“Maki-san… go ahead…♡” Fuuka says, pulling her bra down to show identical pink nipples.

“You’re showing that!?” Takaya shrieks.

“I’ve seen them plenty of times,” I say, kissing Yuzuki’s nipple while pinching and rolling Fuuka’s with my fingers.

Tasting both twins’ nipples with my mouth and hands at once? Pure bliss.

“Nn!♡ Maki, you’re sucking too hard!♡” Yuzuki moans.

“I-If you pinch that much…♡ Ahh!♡” Fuuka gasps.

I switch, licking and sucking Fuuka’s nipple while pinching and tugging Yuzuki’s.

“Hey, Rii? Get it now…?” Yuzuki says.

“Get what!?” Takaya replies.

“This is how Maki takes care of both of us at once,” Yuzuki explains.

“Takes care of… With two cute girls like you, who wouldn’t enjoy this?” Takaya says.

She’s got a point, but it’s not that simple.

“It’s not just that… Nn!♡” Fuuka says, kissing me with soft chu, chu sounds. “Maki-san’s perfect… He gives Yuzu-nee and me exactly what we want, when we want it. More breast… Ahh!♡”

Before she finishes, I break from her kiss and suck her nipple again, making loud chu-chu sounds as I lick.

“See…?” Fuuka says.

“See!? I don’t get it! Okay, I get it! Yuzu, too!” Takaya says.

“Sorry, Rii,” Yuzuki says, giving me a quick chu kiss before sitting on the floor.

Fuuka sits beside her, matching her sister.

“We’ve been thinking about this for a while,” Yuzuki says.

“Right… just kisses, breasts, and mouths so far,” Fuuka adds.

“Mouths!?” Takaya exclaims.

At this point, I’m starting to think the twins are deliberately shocking Takaya. Well, anything would shock her in this situation.

“‘So…’” their voices sync as their hands reach for my pants—

“Eek…!” Takaya squeals.

I nearly yelp, too. They’re not seriously doing this in front of Takaya!?

“Yuzu, Fuuka, what are you doing…!?” Takaya says, blushing furiously but not looking away.

I wish she’d look away—it’s way too embarrassing to be seen by someone who’s not my girlfriend!

“Maki…” Yuzuki says.

“Maki-san…” Fuuka adds.

“Hey, Yuzuki, Fuuka, you guys… Ugh!” I groan.

The twins, each lifting their identically sized breasts, press them around me.

“We’ve been meaning to try this,” Yuzuki says.

“Since both Yuzu-nee and I are so big…” Fuuka adds.

“…” I’m speechless.

Yuzuki and Fuuka press their overwhelming breasts together, sandwiching my penis between them. The soft, munyu-munyu sensation feels like it’s swallowing me whole.

“Amazing… this is so different from using our mouths…♡” Yuzuki says.

“Please feel good with our breasts, Maki-san…♡” Fuuka adds.

“Yuzuki… Fuuka…!” I groan.

They move their breasts up and down, rubbing against me. It’s a completely different sensation from their mouths, yet overwhelmingly pleasurable…! I’ve kneaded their breasts with my hands and savored them with my lips and tongue, but to think there was this way to enjoy them…! Well, I knew about this act, but—

Zuri-zuri, their ample breasts envelop and stroke my penis.

“No way… you’re even doing this…?” Takaya says.

“What?♡ Maki, have you been wanting to do this all along?” Yuzuki teases.

“If you’d said so, we would’ve done it anytime…♡” Fuuka adds.

Yuzuki smirks, Fuuka smiles sweetly, and they keep rubbing their breasts against me. The aggressive motion of their 90-centimeter G-cup breasts—two of them—feels almost violent in its intensity. Caught between such massive breasts, I’m on the edge in no time…! Occasionally, Yuzuki brushes my penis with her nipple from the base, or Fuuka licks the tip while pressing her breasts together. Their playful accents make my penis throb wildly, pushing me further into ecstasy.

“Ahh, it’s getting bigger… Maki!” Yuzuki gasps.

“You look so pleased… Nn, Maki-san!” Fuuka says.

“Yuzuki, Fuuka… I’m…” I manage.

Relentlessly, they press their breasts together, squeezing and rubbing. Their soft breasts somehow grip so tightly. The overwhelming pleasure is too much to bear—

“Yuzuki, Fuuka…! Your breasts are too much…!” I groan.

“Ahh, Maki…!♡” Yuzuki moans.

“Nn, Maki-san…!♡” Fuuka echoes.

And then, I—

“Eek…!” a scream.

“Huh?”

“That wasn’t me…” Yuzuki says.

“Not me either…” Fuuka adds.

I open my eyes, which I’d closed in the moment. Below me, the twins’ massive breasts still sandwich me. Beyond them, Takaya sits on the sofa.

“Ugh… it’s that much…?” she mutters.

“Ah…” I nearly yelp again.

Lost in the pleasure, I didn’t think—Takaya Riina’s cute face… I’ve dirtied it. The liquid drips down her cheek. Not only did I show her an outrageous scene with the twins, but I went this far.

“It’s… hot… and smells like this…” Takaya says, dazed but not angry.

“Uh, Rii? This is awkward, but…” Yuzuki starts.

“What?” Takaya replies, closing one eye and wiping her face lightly.

“This proves we do naughty stuff with Maki together…” Yuzuki says.

“And Maki-san takes care of both of us at once…” Fuuka adds.

“I got that when you started with your… breasts. And now I really get it with the heat and smell…” Takaya says.

“Really sorry about that…” I say, still standing, still sandwiched by the twins.

What do I even do now?

“It’s fine… I get it… It was an accident, Maki-kun,” Takaya says, unconsciously—or not—licking the liquid off her lips.

“I’m trusting you with my best friend. And her sister, too,” she adds.

“Y-Yeah, leave it to me,” I reply.

She doesn’t seem mad. The shocking scene and accidental finish might’ve left her too stunned to be angry. Still, I need to reflect. After the changing room incident, this is the second accident with Takaya. I’ve gotta do better…

“Rii, you’re kinda sexy right now…” Yuzuki says.

“Yeah, pretty naughty, Takaya-san…” Fuuka adds.

“Eek, Yuzu, Fu, what are you doing!?” Takaya exclaims.

The twins cozy up to Takaya, licking the remaining mess off her face with their tongues.

“But Maki’s stuff is ours,” Yuzuki says.

“Sorry, it’s our job to lick up the rest,” Fuuka adds.

“You’re doing that much!?” Takaya says, blushing furiously as the twins lick her face.

The sight of twin beauties getting intimate with a gyaru beauty feels… almost sinful. No, I can’t get caught up in this! Sure, the twins’ breast play was incredible, but finishing on Takaya’s face was too much. I need to seriously reflect…

Still, however wild the method, I got Yuzuki’s best friend’s approval and understanding for dating the twins. Calling Takaya an “obstacle” feels unfair, but for me, who cherishes both Yuzuki and Fuuka, this was a major hurdle cleared.

That is... quite the step up!
