ABR v0.3.7 Release!

Dear All!

I am happy to release v0.3.7 of my game!

Working on the game gets better and better as I implement many functions and depicting various sexy situations :). However, it feels like debugging and fixing bugs are getting harder... So, I ask you all nicely, if there are any known bugs, please follow the format to report:

• Symptom: What happened that distracted the gameplay.

• Reproduction: Possible action that reoccurs the bug.

These are only two information that I require from you, but if you wish to write more down, I am more than happy to be helped with the info! :)

Also, since the game has some events and an ending (which I will talk about shortly) to enjoy, I announce our demo is over! Though, that does not mean I am satisfied with the quality of the game yet, so I will leave the game priceless for 3,4 versions more. (or more idk).

Simple tips:

• For those of you who wish to play from City B, it is very hard to earn money. It is not recommended to start from City B just now.

• It is also recommended to start with a new save file! I added H stats to the current version, and new game will be holding data of H stats, meaning when UI for H stats is implemented, you will see the h stats right away.

• Earning money is very hard... Focus on increasing attractiveness and reputation! (As number of events increase, it will get easier to resolve the situation.)

In ABR v0.3.7, these things are changed + added:

• Pop image interaction changed

• Day and night roaming implemented

• Landlord is implemented! -> Hopefully it works.

  • Landlord visit button enabled (Mostly complete)

  • Landlord is going to visit Arie for money collection.

• Changing Door lock is very crucial! -> I tested, and there were a lot of intrusion.

• One bad ending implemented. -> Might be buggy. Testing.

• Traits rebalanced + added new.

• Cheat traits are added. (No plan to share at the moment!)

• City specialized event structures are implemented. -> Sample hint placeholder events at the moment.

• Dialogue with character standing images supported. -> Will add character standing images later on: As well as existing events.

• Video resolution bigger, and bug that resolution properly not displayed is fixed.

• Redundant events occurrence fixed.

• @@@ Additional roaming, home, map events, and many videos! @@@

  • Total 20++ events. (At least... I think...)

  • Most of h events support video.

• Reworked / Polished some existing + new events.

• Data organization optimization redone. (A lot of assets...!)

• Minor bug fixes (Like... tons...)

• Minor game rebalancing

• Icon added

• And so on...

Bugs are mostly fixed, but if you still find one, please report it in this post or in f95zone. Thank you!

TODO:

• Unique character creation!

  • Now, it's time to add more characters :) If you play the released version, you might notice some of the characters are not in blue shaped silhouettes. They are to be (or not) unique character of the game! Characters that are sure to be unique are: Landlord, fat neighbor and Stacy!

    • Stacy is meant to be another unique female character that helps Arie in various ways! I hope to create unique female characters each city. However, the plan is very temporary, so it might not work.

• H Stats, Inventory, Skill.

  • These are only UI creation. In fact, inventory is implemented already, but h stats and skills are not yet. Will implement GUI to display better!

• Additional events and Other main event loops.

  • Creating more events! That should use location like:

    • Hospital, station, club, pub, park.

  • Since landlord event is almost over, I wish to develop extra events as well as other main events. Please leave a comment, if you have any other opinions :). There are some idea regarding main events:

    • Work in a company.

      • To earn more money, Arie decides to work in a company. However, she only finished mandatory education, so could not get a great job.

    • Stacy gets lost. (Or someone)

      • Getting helped by Stacy, Arie feels close to her. However, Stacy suddenly is lost, and Arie is worried and search for her. (Very inspired by TWGM I guess...)

    • Open business.

      • Again, to earn more money, Arie decided to open business. (Temporary idea)

Next update is going to take awhile! I hope to release next update next weekend, but who knows :P.
