Meet Viviane
Out of all the sleeve designs, I was the most familiar with Viviane! She is my elven, witchy sleeve but can alsoooo be casual if you shorten the hem of the volante (its the long cascading part of the sleeve).
In the photos, my friend Nadine is wearing the Avalon duster in VELVET. I don't know about you, but I realized that the type of velvet I used to create this particular duster is heaavy. This duster was 6 pounds in total. BUT this was a micro velvet, meaning it had a shorter pile, and was more forgiving in the "right" direction. I do love the sheen the fabric brought and I still recommend it if you are wanting extra drama.
From this version, I will be going into fabric weights and recommended fabric weights for each duster! so yay to learning!!

The Viviane is gorgeous too!! I'm excited to learn about fabric weight and how that will affect the Avalon that we decide to make!!
There will be a page to reinforce the shrug to handle more weight and care for after!! Honestly so glad to be making a few versions before the release to test soooome wear aspect
