Progress post #7
Realized I haven't done these in a while, something I'd like to apologize for. Progress recently has been going pretty strong, and many things are planned. People wanted interior tuning so I started making that, but first I have to finish up all interiors to be able to do the tuning more efficiently, so I present to you:
These variants of the interior will come in the next update, hence why it's taking rather long to make (interior is harder than exterior because I will have to animate all of this)
Another interior improvement that people have been asking about is the odometer: I have no idea how to make these, however, I did find someone who very much does, Etrusan. You may know him as one of the founders of https://dbusworld.com/team . With his (honestly amazing) expertise, he managed to create a very analog looking odometer that is also fully functional. Sadly it doesn't rotate like it should, but it's better than nothing. FULL CREDIT TO ETRUSAN FOR THE ODOMETER.
Will it be hard to read? Yes, yes it will, especially at night. Do I particularly care? No, as I strive for maximum realism and the annoyance of the odometer is a part of that. (As you can see I'm rather useless at corporate style doublespeak and glazing negative changes, if you wish me to become better at such things, please reach out and teach me).
Apart from this, some actual tuning has been added:
These are east european style steering wheel covers. The ones of you that like west EU tuning probably won't like these whatsoever, but I feel they are decent and additions don't hurt. Textures, models etc made from scratch on them, so now I've atleast learned to make these with relative ease.
And finally, some exterior tuning:
First off we have 3rd generation air intakes for all third generation cabins, except the topsleeper because it didn't fit there since it's an aftermarket cabin. Apart from these, we have another variant of the heinous LED headlights (that I will try to make proper LED as well) and a new special edition chrome bumper with corresponding foglights.
Apologies for the rather long silence, hope this is atleast somewhat exciting.
