FH1 Q&A

Since the FH1 seems to have blown up a bit more than I thought it would, I figured I'd answer some commonly asked questions in one post instead of answering them in the replies:

• Will you update this? To a certain extent most likely yes, that extent being patches etc. It will not receive much if any new content at this time, as I deem the models low-quality and the truck to be overall quite inaccurate. What MAY happen is I rebuild it from scratch after finishing the F series (the truck currently in early access paid tier).

• Why no cabin accessories? Because I updated this from 1.49 or so during the course of a day and released it in a haste for december 6th, the date when santa comes witth presents in some cultures. When I originally built it, it didn't have cabin accessories because I very quickly moved on and started the Magnum instead.

• Why no left side tank for FH16? The FH12 ones didn't fit and I was too lazy to make a small tank version that did. May make one in the future if I need to do compatibility updates for this thing anyway.

• Why do you hate the truck?
  - The model quality is not good, far worse than what I can make today
  - I modeled it using another FH1 mod for exterior reference and managed to incorporate all the inaccuracies from that model into my mod, among them being a full FH4 chassis/axle setup which I deeply hate
  - I don't like putting my name on something that I know is bad and can do better, but I also got a lot of requests/inquiries about the truck, so I released it anyway

• Why release it unfinished at all? Because I have no energy to rebuild another truck right now and do 2 projects parallel with eachother, while also not wanting this rig to just rot on my harddrive forever, especially since it had Kast addons for it.

There are now multiple addons, cabin accessories being among them, available for free in my discord server, made by other people. Huge thanks to everyone who helped improve the mod so far with their addons.
