Time for some DEV NEWS!

Development is going smoothly and I am pretty hyped, to be honest. Implementing a new ShareSpace with the new backend went without issues and with minimal bugs. The main problem I was facing was on the lovers path though. At the moment it is possible for you to have 3 active side quests on lovers. The easiest solution was to just leave that extra side quest out of this update, but since that is a side quest impacting the story (and possibly the ending), I needed to tread carefully and make some minor changes to the timeline of the lovers path, because this side quest HAS to happen. So that was the most challenging part of the upcoming update. To be fair, I am still crunching numbers to see if I can maybe still stuff it in here somewhere, but the way it's planned right now seems sufficient.

That doesn't mean lovers was the only one with challenges though. The NTR path and Happy (if you are in phase 2, man are you in for a treat 😏) had their own challenges, since the NTR path will be aggressively pushing towards phase 2. That is the main difference between the NTR and Happy path.

I am also happy to note that bug wise, almost all of them come from the dialogue system and are quite minimal. The jump from the last update to the new one plays correctly, which was my main concern.

Also quickly throwing it in there, comments on ShareSpace posts will be added this update, and after that you won't be able to comment on them anymore, since the new posts will replace the old ones. I MIGHT make a post with a last call, but I also might not. Don't roll the dice, comment if you want to comment.😁

I have been fine tuning v0.24 as well, since the new update will release on the v0.24 platform. There are no new features, large code changes or free content planned for the next release, so there is no need to up the version number apart from a quick bugfix bump.

All in all, development is going smoothly. Now, I am quite superstitious so I won't be pinning down a date just yet. But I am expecting it to be ready around the end of this month / start of next month. Gotta keep that release window wide so as not to tempt fate.

I'm sure the upcoming story update will be a pleasant surprise for some of you. I can't wait to bring it to you all.
