Pausing the billing cycle + Brief Update!
Hello everyone!
I’m just jumping on here to say that I will be skipping this month — that means the billing cycle will be paused. You will not be charged for October and there won’t be any content going out. Things should resume in November!
There is no reason in particular for this, just that I’m behind on mailable rewards and credits and need time to get caught up.
September was a *really* bad mental health month, and things have been better in October thanks to medication changes, but still sort of rough. I worked really hard to get a halloween project done, but ended up hating it too much to bother. I felt like it was cursed from the get go, honestly, and was really discouraged when I didn’t get it finished (even though I think it was the right decision).
Some good stuff happened too, though! I finished my menswear inspired dragon costume, and got that photographed (video coming…soonish). I actually got FIVE projects photographed today, which was pretty great.
I got to see some friends briefly in NYC…and may have bought some fabric in the process, so a haul is coming. And I finished one part of my halloween project, and filmed that, so that footage will be posted along with an explanation of what went wrong.
Fingers crossed I’ll get off my butt and film an update, too. Because I have been doing THINGS I swear, and I do want to share them. But first…I have some photos to edit.
I hope all of you had a great October and have a good Halloween tomorrow! I get to give out candy while also watching three noisy dogs, so pray for my ears.
I am sort of excited to wear the spiderweb robe I impulse bought from blackmilk a few months back, though.

On a previous video you used basting thread that was precut and came. In a flat package., It might have been pre-waxed. Could you remind me of the brand name or description of that thread? Many thanks
When I saw you had paused your page I was really worried that October was even worse than September had been. I'm really glad you are feeling better and can't wait to see what you have been up to.
PS I wouldn’t mind seeing a short on the failure just for us since life is learned through failures too 😘

Hey, Angela! Thanks for your concern, but please: you're no dancing monkey, nor some sort of vending machine into which we drop our coins and expect to get our candy! You are (as far as I can tell, anyway) a living, breathing and highly creative human being, and I want you to get along nicely every single month. I think we all know and trust that you're doing your very best, pursuing your dreams and making amazing things. Life is long, and more like a marathon or a long trek, rather than a series of 110 m hurdles races... Please please allow us to support you, even (or rather: especially) during tough times! Please have trust in us, like we trust you! Now, it's only fair to let people know there's no content coming for a while, but I seriously think we can decide for ourselves whether to put our support on hold or not. Just my 2 öre. =) Stay calm and take care, dear!
