Dragon Dress Update! | The fabric I planned on using & how I used it!
This project is not done. So the video about making it isn't done, either. But I am sort of obsessed with how it is coming along. So this video is basically 20 minutes of me being delighted about that fact. ENJOY.
Oh also I compared the fabrics I planned on using before starting on this project with the almost finished project, showing how they were utilized on the actual garment. I hope it is interesting? It might be interesting? You will have to let me know!

I love the green beads, but I wouldn't use them on this project. I think whenever the eye is caught by a glint of green, it should be a dragon eye looking back at you! ☺️
YES! Just the update I wanted to see. It is brilliant. And I like the pops of green - not sure how they are in person but on camera they are just the right touch without being too much.
Another vote for the green beads! Can’t wait to see the finished outfit worn- I think it would be cool to see a video of this worn so you can see the light pick up the sequins and texture instead of just photos…
Angela you should look at Cartwright’s for sequins! They’re the cheapest I’ve ever been able to find. You’ve inspired me to add more embellishments to everything I make!
I love the massive amount of texture you added to this dress. I also like the green sequins. Fabulous so far! Can't wait to see it finished!
I am so enamored with this dress and I cannot wait to see it finished and worn and i’m so excited for whatever headpiece you make as well!!!
I definitely love the pops of green! They match the eyes really well <3
I like the green beads! Also this project is incredible, I feel like I need to watch the video at 0.5 speed just to take in all the detail when you show the details
I’m so in love with the chiffon’s texture, it’s stunning. Personally, I like the green beads and I think they break up the black and greys incredibly well and look striking
Absolutely smashing! Love the green dashes adds a bit of whimsy.
We all love all of your projects, even the ones that don't turn out well because we learn so much from you I'll come up but we love your joy more than anything, Glad to see you've gotten to have some of that back in these projects
I love this. When in doubt, add more embellishments
