Following a 1940s Suit Pattern / Making a Vest AND Skirt
This project was picked BY patrons, so it made sense to make it patreon exclusive, too!
I was a bit skeptical when I saw this pattern won its poll, because it consisted of a pencil skirt. Historically, I do not like pencil skirts. But I do like THIS pencil skirt. I wish I could say the same for the vest, but I guess having everything in a single video go according to plan would be far to much to ask for.
I'm cutting things close this month because it has been extraordinarily hectic - after literal years of my families life being stagnant due to the pandemic, my parents decided to go away for several weeks out of this month. I also had a friend over for a few days, a birthday, and...I don't even remember what else.
But I will be back TOMORROW with a monthly update talking more about the ongoings in April and my plans for May. So keep an eye out for that! :D

Here I am, watching again!
The ensemble is so cute! I really like your fabric, well done with the execution!
I think this set is so cute and it looks great with the dog blouse! I really love the fabric choice 🧡
omg I bought this pattern and have been totally intimidated by it, so glad to see it made and on a body 😍
Thanks for making this! I have been watching all your videos on YouTube and decided to take the leap into your Patreon a few days ago :) I absolutely love watching you work and share your failures and successes. I am SUPER intimidated by welts. Like for real I don't understand how it works. So I'm gonna go ahead a rewatch some of your videos where you built some. Looking forward to your April update video :) Valerie, French girl living in Brooklyn ;)
Happy birthday, Angela!
