Making the Medieval Midcentury Cottagecore Unicorn Dress of my DREAMS | Sewing Vlog
So this video decided to take FOUR hours to render, so I apologize if there are any issues I missed since I do not have time before bed to do a full watch through. If there are any, I shall resolve them tomorrow.
In the mean time - I hope you enjoy this not-so-little vlog about making a somewhat ridiculous ruffly dress made from silk unicorn fabric. It is quite the mish-mash of aesthetics and periods, but I think it works?
I had fun making it, so hopefully it is fun to watch! And I will be back tomorrow with something patreon exclusive before the end of the month!

it's gorgeous and i love it! :D
I like your organization videos. If you have it mainly complete. What about putting it up as a patron video. You could talk about dogs.
Who would have thought that a Medieval Midcentury Cottagecore Unicorn Dress mashup is a country western square dance dress!!! I would love to wear this!!
This and the pants...I'm just loving some of your more adventurous work, lately. It's so much fun and they're turning out so well! Also, I loved your rant. People can be very nasty and judgmental in the historical costume community, especially with respect to dinosaur fabrics and bunny shoes.
Love the dress, giving me some strong Esmerelda vibes!!! Also love the chat about "cores" and bounding, very wise words. Also also, I want that beading video - maybe use your Counted and Curated channel - seems to sit well there if you worried about how people would like the video on your usual channel x
I love this dress! Especially what you did with the velvet, it's true that you made it look like faux fur, I've never thought one could get this effect with velvet. The final result is super cute, and I love that your take on cottagecore is also a departure from the "mainstream" of the style by choosing these bold and deep colors! The dress is very pretty and also looks very comfortable. I love that hat too. Relatable struggle with the zipper, it's reassuring that it also happens to you. Fantastic project, thanks for sharing!
I'm sorry the zipper gave you trouble, but I like that you kept that part in. I find it comforting that even pros like you run into problems like that sometimes and it isn't just my stuff that doesn't turn out like I want all the time. The dress looks lovely, though! It reminds me a bit of hungarian folklore dresses, I think mostly because of the tiered skirt and the purple + gold combination. If you ever want to make an FAQ video or something like that you could use the bead sorting video as background.
It turned out great! Zippers and shifty fabric sound terrible but you are so relatable. I love how you still love your projects even when they turn out to be a stinker!
I would 100% watch you sorting beads! It would be so satisfying and relaxing!! This dress turned out so cute! The matching hat is just so sweet.
Viewers: yay the dress is done! Angela: BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE! Viewers: :0 Angela: <] a hat of course!
Yay!! This is so pretty
