So Many Projects! | June Update | Patreon

This has been the month of casual dresses, apparently...though only two ended up being successful (so far)!

I also made progress (some good, some not so good) on the cotton 1880s ensemble and edwardian gown which were both mentioned in my last update. Progress has *finally* resumed on the red wool kirtle, and that will likely be finished soon. I also started on the pink and white 18th century damask polonaise.

As per usual, I already have numerous ideas for NEW things - many of which I've already constructed mock ups for. How many of them will actually get made? You'll have to stay tuned to find out!

I hope you enjoy this little peek into what I've been working on. Thanks so much for your support and I will talk to all of you in JULY!

That NY pattern for the shorts looks amazing! If you have a spare... :D

Oooh I want to see videos on them all! The Downton Abbey dress is fabulous, and I bet that kirtle looks so pretty with the smock! I'm working on some renaissance wear right now and totally have that on my mind. Also - I can't believe it's been years since your peach robe a la francaise. I thought that turned out beautifully, it's one of my favorite things you ever did! I'm looking forward to seeing you return to the era.

why so many at once, it is not better to focus on one at a time. Breathe little girl, so until next Thursday you can only sew on 2 projects and it can only be those who are bent. No new plans and no more than 2, it is with filming and computer work as well. So only 2 and 5 days, if they become super and you think that everything is ok with how they turned out and that there is more time left, then you can increase with one more. so an idea mvh Me

What about using bamboo strips as a base with paper for fabric covering it?

Whenever you show us the fabrics you’ve chosen to put together, Angie, I’m always so skeptical like will they even go!? Abd then you do the thing and put them together and I was a fool to not trust your judgement 😂

I've made wind by using wire hanger and then covering it with a pair of stockings. You can pain them too with this method. This may not be helpful at all but it was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the fashion plate. :)

Love seeing these updates! And as a francophone I can confirm it is pronounced "fran-says" (the ç makes an ss sound) ;)

I don’t need more fabric, but looking at your stash, I need more fabric. I loved your ‘shop with me’ video and I wish you would do more of those. It was so helpful to me because I struggle with sourcing materials and finding good online stores

I love when I see a fabric in your updates that I remember from a haul from months before. Excited to see how these projects turn out 🙂
