I'm skipping / pausing this months billing cycle!
Hello everyone! I just wanted to make a public post letting everyone know that I will be “skipping” this month - this means you won’t be charged anything on June 1st, which would typically cover the cost for posts I put out in May.
You do not have to take any action. I have paused the billing on my end. If you choose to stick around, billing will resume as usual on July 1st!
Obviously, based on the lack of content I’ve put out, I haven’t been able to provide the exclusive videos, early access, and credits that are promised when you pledge. And I’m a month+ behind on mailable rewards.
I’d rather focus on preparing content for the start of June and getting caught up on everything than rushing to pump out videos in the few remaining days.
I HAVE been working - I WISH I could say this was an intentional month long break but it very much wasn’t. My month looked like this:
Week 1: Taxes.
Week 2: Recovering from second pfizer shot (totally worth it, but nausea and migraines kicked my BUTT.)
Week 3: Being a zombie and panicking that my medication had stopped working because I could barely keep my eyes open…before realizing it was just allergies. Zyrtec has kept me functioning.
Week 4: I ADOPTED A PUPPY! Her name is Minnie and you'll meet her soon.
I did manage to get some stuff done! I have rough cuts done of several videos which are just awaiting voice overs.
I have also almost completed my Downton Abbey inspired project, and my 1880s quirky cotton ensemble. I just didn’t get enough done to keep up with my patreon-promises, and don’t want to be paid for work I couldn’t complete, regardless of the circumstances.
Thanks SO much for the support, and I hope you can understand! Hopefully by not posting in May I can get back on track and post some content on patreon in the first week or two of months…instead of everything in the final days.
Speaking of the final days, I do plan on still posting a monthly update. So keep an eye out for that!

Wow a new puppy. So you have 2 dogs to love. How awesome. You have clearly had a busy month. I have heard the second shot leaves you feeling blah.. please take care of yourself. I understand wholeheartedly.
The second dose of some vaccines tend to do that, but that’s how you know that both doses worked. The first dose can only engage the innate immune system, whereas the second dose — assuming the first worked — also engages the adaptive immune system, and triggers the creation of a lot more memory cells, basically telling the body that yes, you really DO need to remember this intruder.
No worries! I’m glad that it mostly seems to be good news/ just life stuff too! Can’t wait to see more of the new puppy
