I accidentally deleted all the game files while backing up. Now all the character models and scene models are gone. This will take a lot of time to recreate, but to be honest, I don't have the confidence to continue working on it, so this project is temporarily suspended indefinitely. All paid members, please stop paying for this project. Thank you for your continued support. I hope to come back one day, but maybe not.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've tried various recovery software, but the files always come back corrupted. My friend told me that because it's an SSD, only the file name and size remain. As for finding a professional repair shop, I have some private information on my SSD drive that I can't share with others. I think you all understand, especially a woman's SSD drive.
Fortunately, my game scripts were not lost. What I lost were the character models and the scene models. So the biggest problem is that I may not be able to unify the characters in future versions with the previous versions. The same is true for scenes. I'm going to give you a suggestion to face the worst-case scenario, which is not being able to recover any of your previous work. This is what many creators tend to do when things similar to yours happen to them: Make a sequel to the game, that is, finish the game and continue the story in a sequel that immediately follows the events with which the previous game ended. You'll need to remake the casts of the protagonists and, of course, provide some sort of introduction to the previous game (many just include black and white screenshots as flashbacks of very specific scenes from the previous game). This way, you can continue your work and have support. I repeat, this often happens to other developers, and to avoid starting over, they make immediate sequels. With your work, which is very good, due to your narrative mastery of BDSM that few can express, I think it would be the most viable alternative to keep things going. I truly hope you're well, and keep your spirits up.
Also if I may add another suggestion, maybe hold off on redoing the older chapters and request people refer to older versions of the game for them if your intent is to redo the entire game. I’m sure people will be reasonable and understand, you can always do small bits of remakes here and there when free time strikes. Unless it’d be excessively difficult to put them all in one file later down the line again.

I suppose there are services provided by small computer service shops. They also help in recovering lost files. So you can give it a shot if you are not proficient in it. As your personal files are also deleted.
