🆕New Mod!🚨School Bus Service🚐🚏 (In Loving Memory of Sims 3💜) PUBLIC RELEASE
In loving memory of The Sims 3!! Forever in our hearts… and our demands to EA! 🤣🤣🤣
Sooooo... nobody asked for this, but I spent a little too long doing my usual modder admin and my brain went off on a tangent😭😭😭 I was thinking a lot about all the little things I missed from the Sims 3.
Introducing School Bus Service! 🚌
Simmers can choose for the school bus actually turning up outside your Sims’ house when it's time for children and teens to go to school
🎥 See the mod in action - New TIKTOK
I’ve also put together a TikTok video showing the mod in action! Check it out !
🚸 Key Highlights!
School-day bus service: Arrange a school bus service for your household, with morning pickups and afternoon bus visits for Children and Teens.
School pickups and drop-offs right outside your home: Once your household is registered, a school bus appears outside your Sims’ residence for morning pickups and returns for afternoon drop-offs for Children and Teens.
Morning goodbyes: Caregivers can watch and wave students off to school.
🚌 Five School Bus Options to choose from
I didn’t want everyone to be limited to the American school bus. School transport looks different around the world, so I wanted to include options to be more inclusive to different countries and give you more choice for your households and stories:
For transparency, I didn’t create all of the bus models myself, some come from EA and others were sourced elsewhere.
I DO love collaborating with CC creators! If there’s a content creator who has a vehicle you’d love to use, send me their link. I’d be happy to explore adding it as a supported option with the creator’s permission.
The mod's download page has the full feature breakdown, tutorial and installation requirements. Please read the requirements before installing!

🏡 Residential Lot Compatibility
I've also put together a document detailing residential lot compatibility for both versions of the mod.
School Bus Service – Residential Lot Compatibility List
Please note: If you don't see a particular world listed in the document, it's because ALL residential lots in that world should be compatible. There are hundreds of residential lots across The Sims 4, and unfortunately not all of them are suitable for the School Bus Service due to their layouts and road access.
If there are any specific residential lots you'd like me to prioritise adding compatibility for, please let me know!
🚌 NEW – Animated School Bus Service (BETA RELEASE!) 🎉
FINALLY!! After A LOT of testing and tweaking, the Animated Version of my School Bus Service Mod is now available for patreon members
This version wont be released publicly as i need to first gather feedback and iron out any remaining issues before I retire this mod and convert it into another mod I'm working on! 👀
Please note: The original non-animated School Bus Service is still available for free.
If you're testing the animated version, I'd especially appreciate feedback on any unusual bus movement, animations or issues with specific residential lots.

Thank you for creating this mod! It is a small mod but it adds details that represent our daily life so much!!! I also love that we get to pick the school bus models. I am from Hong Kong and I did not expect there is the option to choose a bus model I grew up with.
Is there a list of worlds that this mod works in? Asking before I uproot my sim family from Tartosa to be able to use this mod lol
I will provide this for the next update i do ..i will say assume it should not work for any lot that doesnt have a road in front of it and is an apartment lot.. By doesnt not work I mean when you call to arrange school bus service you will get denied
I'm having a problem with my sis not being able to get on the bus, how do I fix that?
Because you havent updated to the latest version of the mod
Dear Author: Hello, I would like to ask why after I installed the mod and also the 51 core library, when I click on "Phone - Home", the corresponding school bus option does not appear?
If you need help on error support you will need to join my discord server
The children wont get on the bus they keep doing that hand wave thing and theres nothing in the way I do i have 2 children and 1 teen in the household so im not sure if thats the problem.

What version of the mod are you using
may both sides of your pillow be cold, you legend
The highest blessing someone could give me💜 Thank you friend🥰💜
Omg the London style school bus.... is that what they look like i thought that was just the public bus. This is amazing <3
Yeah some schools rent these buses and use them as bus services for their schools or they use charter coaches
Hi! Here's as planned the French article and translation for this amazing mod, bringing back so many memories! https://modsims4.fr/divers/bus-scolaire/ Thank you for your hard work 🥰
The mod isnt working for me :( the kids can't get on it. they get the no path emote and miss the bus everyday- i dont think it works with the lot im on in snowy escape

Si ma traduction FRANCAISE peut vous servir :) https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/translations/school-bus-service-tr-fr/preview
Love but your site has way too many pop ups and makes it annoying to download from. Wish you'd just have a download spot here on Patreon like most creators
Thanks for the feedback I am currently working on redesigning my website and will try to improve the UI ! For numerous reasons my mod downloads wont be on patreon unless they are early access.
Amazing!!!!!!!
Yessss
This is amazing omg. In the future sometime, have you thought about adding a historical option (like horse drawn carriage for example)? Regardless, I'm going to love this mod so much lol.
Wow can't be real
Really wowed me with this! Thank you :)
hi I love this mod so much but when I click "get on bus" , my student sims wave and sign that they cannot not do it. I tried this in many residences but same thing happened. I also have lot51. I wanna know what's not allowing me to enjoy this mod :(...

The mod's download page provides an overview and tutorial🥰
Hello I noticed that in Newcrest (specifically the fern park lot) my sim cant get on the bus because she can't "reach" it. There's nothing in the way but the curb seems to be a bit close to where the bus spawns so i was thinking that might be a problem! Also have you ever thought about doing a taxi mod kinda similar to this one?
Yeah i couldn't test this mod with every residential lot (theres like 100+) but im noticing this issue with some residential lots..its helpful that you told me the specific residential lot because i can test and see if I can correct it! Thank you And yes i think a taxi mod would be cool actually !!!
Oooh, this is so perfect, thank you!
Shutup!
Is this for the sims4 as well ?
Its only for sims 4😅its a sims4 mod

O my God! This us such a great idea!!! I will check it out!
Wow I literally just asked for this on a post I could cry 😭🫶🏾
you're truly amazing! can't wait to use this
Thank you very much!!
Hi I was wondering if this is compatible with the elementary school mod?
Who is the creator of this mod i will go and check
I absolutely love that you gave global options, as an American. So many things are centric to us and every little chance to open up our worlds should be celebrated :) This is an excellent addition to your mod list!! OH! EDIT!!! QUESTION regarding that :) Is the bus itself locked to the entire game, or can each family register for a different variant? Because I'd love to use certain variants in certain neighborhoods! Sorry, secondary edit: I THINK the screenshot answers my question to per household? But not positive :) Cheers!
Thank you! Being inclusive is really important to me!!🥰💜 And yes you can change what school bus is used via the settings menu very easily😊
Wow. The detail that is in this mod including animations of the bus arriving and leaving are top tier. This is amazing, you are truly appreciated in the Sims 4 community because you care, you understand, and you provide. I hope your pillow stays cold on both sides every night. <3
Thank you!!!💜💜 I feel seen!!🥰🥰🥰
Woke up to a blessing thank you!!!!!!! Much needed mod!
will this mod conflict with short school hours from MSQSIMS? btw tysm for the mod 🥹
Updated today to include compatibility with this mod
Can we use it as decor in a lot?
I think they might be in the debug catalogue but in my next update I will make them decor objects 😊
I loved it!!! Is there a way to make a version for adults to take to work? 😍
Yess I think so!! Someone else asked for this too!! I will look into it !!!💜
