Better Diapers Mod - Early Access Download (Current Version 3.6)

05/09/2026 - fixed issue with diaper supplies not being added to functional diaper bag inventory

05/09/2026 - fixed issue with changing diapers not working for newborns

05/09/2026 - fixed issue with overnight and sensitive diaper changes

06/09/2026 - Added feature to allow diaper supplies that are on active lot to be checked and used. Also fixed issue with sims not walking to sink or bassinet. Also changed prices of the diaper supplies.

24/09/2026 - Made a few minor improvements and fixed issue with washing cloth diapers. compatible with the latest patch - Patch v1.128.90.1030

01/10/2026 - Updated cloth diapers to not need to be in sim's inventory to be used. However still required for cloth diapers to be washed (i think that makes logical sense from gameplay perspective)

Installation Requirements – (MANDATORY)

⚠️ Important Compatibility Info (PLEASE READ) ⚠️

  1. Better Diapers includes overrides for the game’s existing diaper-related tuning. It WILL conflict with any other mod that overrides the same tuning. If you aren't sure, feel free to ask.

  2. Responsible Pregnancy — Update Required if Installed

    Responsible Pregnancy was updated on 4 September 2026 to version 6.1 to ensure that the Diaper Duty feature works alongside Better Diapers without conflicting.

    If you use both mods, you MUST update Responsible Pregnancy. Older versions will cause compatibility issues.

Optional Gameplay Boosters

These are not required, but can add to the Better Diapers experience.

  • The Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff — Used Cloth Diapers can become part of the household laundry routine, with the clean diaper supply replenished when washed laundry is Put Away. Better Diapers still supports Cloth Diapers without the Laundry Day pack

  • Kemzima's Responsible Pregnancy — Adds additional integration with Responsible Pregnancy's Diaper Duty feature, allowing designated caregivers to take responsibility for diaper changes while working alongside Better Diapers' diaper supplies and requirements.

  • BaseLayer Diapers - Better Diapers includes the BaseLayer Diapers package, which lets Infants and Toddlers visually change into the diaper used during their diaper change.

    - If you do not want Better Diapers to change their base layer, simply remove the BaseLayer Diapers package from your Mods folder.

    -The main Better Diapers gameplay will still work, but the diaper clothes cc included in that package will no longer appear in-game.

  • Cute Functional Diaper Bags CC

    Functional Diaper Bags cc that Sims can also carry in their inventory, giving your caregivers a handy place to keep their diapers and other diapering supplies while at home or out with their little ones.
