⚠️ PSA - Please Do Not Redistribute My Mod Files

I just wanted to clarify my boundary on sharing my mod files.

Please do not reupload the actual files through Facebook groups, Discord servers, Telegram channels or other third-party platforms. This also applies to mods that are already publicly available for free. You are always welcome to share the official download page link instead.

Why? Outdated versions of my mods are being shared with errors that have been fixed, and without the correct requirements and installation info. Players then come to me for support on broken versions, which takes time away from updates, fixes and new content.

There have also been several malware incidents involving Sims 4 mod downloads recently, so downloading directly from the original creator is the safest way to know exactly where a file came from.

If you have uploaded my files somewhere else, I am kindly asking you to take them down and share the official link instead. Where files are not removed, I do file takedown reports with the platforms directly and reports that have filed have been actioned.

This is not targeted at any particular group or community. The same rule applies everywhere. It is simply about protecting my time, and the people who download my mods.

For additional clarity, I have never permanently paywalled my mods. They are either released for free immediately or placed in a four-week early-access period before becoming publicly available which is aligned with EA policy.
