Before my Functional Baby Monitor Mod releases on July 10th, I wanted to share a small Patreon update.

Since losing my job last year, modding has become my full-time work. I spend a lot of my days on it, often 12 to 16 hours a day. I LOVE creating mods and I'm genuinely grateful I get to share them with this community. But I also have to be realistic about how much time and work goes into these larger/detailed functional mods.

I know early access and paid content are complicated topics in the Sims community, and I'm very conscious of that. To be clear: I don't and won't permanently paywall my mods or CC. My early access always follows EA's mod policy, and everything becomes public after the early access period ends.

I also know the cost of living is hitting everyone right now(globally). The Sims is meant to be comfort and escapism, and I never want my content to take away from that. At the same time, I do have to pay my bills if I am doing this full time.

So I'm making a few changes to my early access structure to help support this work going forward.

New Patreon tiers:

💛 Activist — $1

For anyone who wants to support my mods on a budget. A simple way to help me keep making content for the community.

💜 Representative — $5

The main early access tier going forward. Includes early access to larger releases, support prioritisation, and Discord perks. As always, everything becomes public after early access ends.

💚 Ronnie's Ambassador — $10

Includes everything from the Representative tier, plus occasional WIP previews for anyone who wants a closer look behind the scenes. This tier is for anyone who wants to support at a higher level. No extra exclusive files locked behind it otherwise, just a bit more of a peek into what's coming. I'm grateful to anyone who chooses it.

This will be released in early access on July 10th under the $5 Representative tier. I wanted to give notice before release rather than change things on release day.

If you can't move tiers right now, please don't feel pressured. It'll still go public after early access, same as always.

The current $3 tier will be phased out and won't be available to new patrons going forward.

Not every mod will be early access. Most of my mods have released publicly right away, and I'll keep doing that whenever I can.

🌍 A Message To Translators

After making My Dietary Life and needing to subscribe to so many food CC creators to integrate their recipes, I realized how expensive it must get for translators who volunteer their time for this community.

So even if a mod is still in early access, feel free to email me or DM me on Discord anytime. I'll send you the string table for any early access mod so you can translate without needing to subscribe.

I'll also continuously gift a 2-month Patreon membership to anyone who has translated My Dietary Life, Responsible Pregnancy, Political World, or any future mods. 💛

Dietary Panel Translation

ALSO to those of you who have emailed me already, I am sorry for the delay on the My Dietary Life dietary panel translations. It's a tedious process so I've put it off a bit, as I've been waiting to get as many translations in as possible first so that I can do them all at the same time.

So far I've received translations in:

• Chinese

• Russian

• Polish

• Brazilian Portuguese

• Hungarian

A few people have also asked about French and German translations this mod. If you know anyone who could help with either, let me know so I can reach out.
