🆕 New Mod 🚨- Functional Osimpic (Ozempic)

This mod was a community request which I thought was super cool and I decided to do this as a separate standalone mod instead of part of my dietary life.
This first iteration of the mod is purely weight management but would love to include a use case for type 2 diabetes with another mod that has this feature in the future😊
💉 The Osimpic Pen
The Osimpic pen comes in three doses:
Low Dose: 0.25mg
Medium Dose: 1mg
High Dose: 2mg
Each dose works a little differently. Lower doses are gentler, while higher doses have a stronger effect on hunger and appetite. Of course, the stronger the dose, the more side effects your sim will receive too.
One dose lasts for 7 days and will immediately start affecting your Sim’s appetite after they take it.
🩺 How It Works
To start, your Sim needs to book a Weight Management Consultation with a doctor.
At the appointment, they can be honest about their situation, or they can bend the truth a little to try and get the prescription for sims who may not need weight management.
If your Sim is approved, the doctor will recommend a dose based on their weight, lifestyle, and overall health.
Non overweight Sims may also be able to get a prescription, but they will need to work a little harder for it. Celebrity Sims may be able to dazzle the doctor with their status, while charismatic Sims may be able to talk their way into approval.
Once approved, your Sim can buy the prescription from a computer for 750 simoleons.
Each pen contains 3 doses and lasts 3 weeks.
🤢 Side Effects
Your Sim can experience side effects like nausea, fatigue, headaches, dizziness, frequent burping, and mood swings.
Sims on a higher dose may feel the side effects more strongly. Sims who overeat while taking Osimpic may also have a rougher time.
😳 Osimpic Face
Long term use can also cause Osimpic face.
If your Sim stays on the medication for too long or if they don't really need the medication, they may start to develop some adverse facial features.
The only way to fix an Osimpic face is by booking a Facial Rejuvenation Treatment for 5000 simoleons.
*This feature does include a reduction to a sim’s cheek fullness. In next update, I will add a setting for this particular facial attribute to be optional.
🔄 Refill Appointments
When the pen runs out, your Sim can book a refill appointment.
At the appointment, they can continue at the same dose, ask for a higher dose, or ask for a lower dose.
If your Sim has lost too much weight, the doctor may recommend stopping treatment. You can accept the decision or dispute it if your Sim is determined to keep going.

For me, the option to book weight management consultation isn’t showing up on the phone at all. I looked under the travel section and it’s not there
Have you updated to yesterday's version of the mod
I can’t go back to the doctor for a refill. The option doesn’t come up
I have a question. My Sim qualified for the Osimpic pen but did not take it up. Some time later, after unsuccessful diets etc, they decided they would like to use the pen after all. Now there doesn't seem to be a way to access it. Is there in fact a way? No opportunity to go for obese counciling or evaluation, nothing.
I did Facial Rejuvenation but i didnt see any improvement, then i was thinking of going the second time but i didn't find the option anymore. Then i tried to disable the face modification still not working. I need help on recover my sims face again

Check that you have installed this correctly and if you have adeepindigos hcr installed, check that you have the latest version. Pleasee also read my mod tutorial on my website page for how the integration works with our mods both installed
Quick Question! Ive had a couple of sims get denied (love that realistic aspect bc it happens) but the option never shows up again. How do I re apply once a sim was rejected once.. or is it a certain wait period? Thanks for all you do :)
Theres a wait period of 2 days before you can reapply again...I didnt want to make it tooooo easy 😅 BUT I can add a cheat option to get rid of the wait period if you want
Thank you so much for this wonderful mod. have you thought of also creating an ivf mod? Because your injections part and side effects are so great. I always wanted to have ivf properly depicted in game. It's also such a big topic. Lumpinou module does have ivf, but it's super simple and doesn't cover injections at all. Whereas the most realistic part in ivf is that there are side effects, you don't feel weel during the treatment. then the chances of success are so different. And most mods just overlook this part representing science baby as just a granted more expensive option, but in reality no matter how much you paid the success depends on other factors. Please let me know if you could consider working on this topic, maybe as a comissioned request.

Hi, I have HCR and updated it to the newest version. My sim got the highest dose of Osimpic, and it's not showing up in the pharmacy. There's no option for prescribed medications showing. I have the paid version.
Did you also update the osimpic mod to the latest version also?

hi i had a sim approved for the pen i purchased it but i started a new save with the sim and the option to have a consultation\purchase the weight loss pen is no longer showing up?
This is too real hahaaha! Can you add things like trying to hide taking it from others and them having a negative reaction to it? Or helping with alcohol or other addictions? Or when they stop taking it they get more hungry than usual? Or they gain confidence by losing the weight. I haven't updated my game, but I hope to use this in the future :)

As someone who had to rely on Zepbound for my recovery and ability to receive a surgery, my life quality has improved a million times over. I put the work in alongside that dang needle. I do find humor in the generalized depictions of people who take it, especially during the mass media blasts of Ozempic. I try not to take a lot of the jokes and jabs to heart, because it saved my life and has given me the ability to care for my physicality now on my own. Some aspects always confused me, but I suppose it's a bit of the tism and not understanding misusing medication or not taking care of the body to make the most of a process... The biggest one being Ozempic face. I kept asking my partner "what? how? why?" and she always rolled her eyes and said "it's just a thing when people lose too fast". Sorry. It's intriguing to me because it's the first time I'm really in a position to sort of see if I can still find humor in a personal topic. But it's nice to see I do XD I wasn't planning on using your Dietary mod but the more ideas you bring overall the more intrigued I am. I DO have a question overall regarding this mod though! Is it mostly meant to be a sort of tongue-in-cheek depiction of the mishandling of the medication at current? Because you mention a future iteration may work in tandem with another mod to tackle Diabetes treatment. But everything I see here in the write up doesn't really mention that a Sim can take it for weight management and, well... NOT experience any of these things. Just curious! I don't mind adding negative gameplay to my game. But as someone with experience with the medications that was on it for two years and has GERD... I didn't honestly experience any side effects. I don't know if I'm just extremely lucky or not? And as always this is a game and not real life, and most mods tackling some level of realism do draw a line. So just very curious if this is meant to be mostly a "your sim can take it but they'll deal with side effects" style gameplay or if it's just not really a highlight that your sim can lose weight if they behave properly? Either way, I love it. I'd love to play around with the negative elements just as much as potentially try to challenge myself to keep a sim from experiencing side effects. Cheers!
First of all THANK YOU for taking the time to provide your perspective and story💜 I do love a long comment!! To answer your question I think alot of my mods i like to do abit of a tongue in cheek depiction of thing(love this description!) ..however I did want it to be realistic at the same time also! I only included features that came up from my research! Regarding the side effects a sim can potentially not receive any side effects but the side effects do get worse if sims dont eat, have a higher dosage of osimpic or are underweight and dont need it. I will probably fine tune this more. I think this might be slightly influenced by my own experience with appetite suppressants whereby I get more side effects depending on if I eat or what I eat etc. The osimpic face also has the same logic and a sim will likely not get it if they take care of themselves and dont continue to take the medication when they dont need it. I wanted the mod to kind of have a use case for weight management BUT then also have a seaway storyline for celebrities or weight conscious sims who want to use it when they dont need it HOWEVER im always open to feedback to tweak things! If there is anything you that should be changed or added let me know! Im open to it !!💜💜
