Patch Update Required V1.124.55 + My Dietary Life New Features & Fixes
Hey everyone!
As I assumed, Tuesday's patch update requires an update to the Responsible Pregnancy Mod.
I also have a bigger update for Dietary Life with some fixes and new content.
Political World and the Pregnancy Massage Table are both fine and do not require an update.

Responsible Pregnancy requires an update following Tuesday’s patch, so please make sure you update to version 4.2
I have also fixed a few issues around Sim reactions when they are doing irresponsible pregnancy related behaviour.

🥗 DIETARY LIFE
This one's a bigger update. A handful of fixes plus a solid round of new content.
Fixes:
Fixed CAS UI issue caused by cocktail preferences (Thanks to those of you who reported this and helped test these fixes)
Fixed the issue of settings menu and dietary panel option disappearing
Fixed issue of allergic reactions only occurring once
New & Updated:
Added Fasting window notifications as helpful reminders when intermittent fasting sims can eat or when they have to fast. This has also been added as an additional setting that can be turned off or on.
Updated lifestyle recipe tagging. Fine tuning the recipe categorisation will be a continuous thing. I also relaxed what pescatarians cant eat.
Apex Diet Sims can now take a cheat day when they reach a higher stage of lifestyle commitment
Child of the Ocean trait now carries a dislike of Pescatarians
Also fine tuned a variety of other features for the dietary lifestyles and restrictions modules
Added more of a variety reactions when sims see someone having an allergic reaction specifically when their lips or eyes are swollen, depending on who they are to that sim.
🐟 NEW - MERCURY POISONING
Pescatarian Sims can now experience mercury poisoning side effects if they eat fish too often. This system builds gradually over time, so Sims who only eat fish occasionally should usually be fine, but Sims who rely on fish constantly may begin to show warning signs .
Severe mercury poisoning comes with bleeding gums and a range of other consequences that are hard to ignore. Pescatarian Sims can check their gums in the mirror as an early warning sign, or regularly book and pay for a Mercury Screening to keep an eye on their current levels. It adds a layer of consequence to the lifestyle that I think makes it a lot more interesting to play.

🌍 A NOTE FOR TRANSLATORS
So Sorry !! Today's update adds around 100 new strings to Dietary Life. I also want to be upfront that there is still a lot more coming to this mod over the next couple of weeks, so it is unlikely that I will be done adding new features for a little while yet.🥲 If there is anything i can do to help let me know!

Hello, I have discovered some issues during my gameplay. 1. The probability of experiencing swelling in the eyes and lips during a moderate allergic reaction is very low, and I have never experienced it once (most of the time, it's stomach discomfort). 2. When clicking on the avatar to display the diet panel, the foods that the avatar likes and dislikes most are all in English. I wonder if they can be translated into my own language in the future. The translation software cannot translate this page. 3. After continuously eating allergic foods, the avatar will continue to eat them without any reaction. 4. It can be changed to be allergic to multiple foods at the same time. 5. The setting for shock caused by severe allergy will not change to death, and the avatar will still die
Helloo! Thanks for the feedback! Yes so the allergy reactions depends on a variety of factors like whether sim is ill, their mood and hunger levels, if they are pregnant also but I also did different severity levels for different allergies aswell. Which allergy did your sim have i can check and make some tweaks. Yeah the Dietary panel is only in English because of the way I had to design it but I have notified translators that I can translate the dietary panel but they have to send me the translations for me to do. What language do you have? I can reach out to a translator for this language if you would like? Im doing an update today I will look into the issue of not getting another reaction after eating the same food sim is allergic to and the shock settings. Just to confirm have you updated to the latest version of the mod 1.6?
Hiiiiii! could be cute for friend/romantic partner/parent/sibling to administer the Epipen, like cute for storytelling, but don't want to overwhelm. Your work is amazing! 🥰
OMG i really wanted to do that initially !! mainly for when sims see NPC having an allergic reaction to be able to stab them with a pen 😭 !! Still improving my animation skills but when i branch out to working 2 person animations this will be the first thing i do !!
hi! so in game im not able to access the settings for this mod, other things are working tho like i get moodlets, notifications etc and i also have access to the pregnancy workouts how do i fix this?
When you first load into the game it will take around 20 in game minutes for the mod to load up properly afterwhich everything should work fine... The settings menu is located in the actions menu when you click onto your sim
Hello, i'm having issues with the dietary mod, for some reason it is breaking my cas by just removing everything in there, like no clothing columns, no area for traits, or sims names. I'm not sure why this is happening

Thank you so much for all the work you've put into your mods!!! I also have a question! I think it's in the Reponsible Pregnancy mod, but do you think it would be possible to allow the pregnant sim's partner to have access to the 'pregnancy safe foods' cooking menu too? Right now I think it's just available for the pregnant sim, but I know, at least for me, in my current family the pregnant sim's partner is the one who does all the cooking as my pregnant sim dislikes it. I think it would be nice for the partner to have the option to cook safe foods for their pregnant lover too

questionnnn is there a way to make it so sims stop trying to get a quick meal and opt to cook something instead? and to make it so in the cook category, if they follow a certian diet like vegetarian, all non vegetarian food options are greyed out? loving your mods so far im so glad i discovered you lol
Excited for the public release of the dietary mod! I'm curious if you were considering adding different vegetarian types (lacto-ovo (diary and eggs), ovo (eggs), pollotarian (poultry)?
Crying i didnt even know there were more different types of vegetarianism 😅😅 Pollotarian is killing me im sorry ...this is the first time im hearing this term🤣🤣...(although this is probably my current dietary lifestyle tbh).. ermm but to answer your question yes i will be adding more dietary lifestyles but I actually want them to each be more distinct and not similar to each other....not sure. I think I will take community direction on lifestyle additions
