📖About Responsible Pregnancy Mod
The expanded mod stays true to the theme of what Sims SHOULD and SHOULDN'T do during pregnancy.
7 Modules (Mix & Match!):
Each module is based on a different type of risk a pregnant Sim can face during pregnancy.
🍸Module 1: Substance Abuse - Visible consequences for substance use (alcohol, tobacco or recreational drugs) during pregnancy, including behavioural reactions, health risks, and social judgment.
🍵Module 2: Caffeine Consumption - Insomnia risks and other caffeine related effects.
🪱Module 3: Toxoplasmosis Risk - Infection risk from cats, farm animals, and uncooked meat and fish.
🍎Module 4: Healthy Eating - Maintain proper nutrition throughout pregnancy to get pregnancy glow reward.
💦Module 5: Prenatal Exertion - Balancing safe exercise, hydration, and body temperature
🧼Module 6: Household Chores - Avoiding Sciatica and toxic exposure from chores and other activities.
🍼Module 7: Newborn Complications - Babies can be born with the below health issues as a result of irresponsible actions during pregnancy:
Low birth weight
Colic
Congenital toxoplasmosis
Acute illnesses (Respiratory, Irregular Heartbeat or Sepsis)
Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS is optional and can be turned off in game)

➕More Social Reactions & Confrontation Interactions ! (Module 1 : Substance Abuse)
Strangers can gossip, shame publicly, or autonomously attempt blackmail of the pregnant sims (evil & mean NPC sims)
Loved ones(family & good friends+) can offer support, express concern, or confront pregnant sims
Romantic Partners have an escalating system with ultimatum warnings and potential automatic breakups if they witness pregnant sims repeatedly consume substances.
Bartenders can be asked to stop serving pregnant sims by anyone which can result in the pregnant sim being barred from ordering drinks.
Pregnant sims can respond in multiple ways when confronted or witnessed in the act.
➕Functional Pregnancy Massage Table
Custom massage table created in collaboration with Acad that solves the problem of pregnant sims not being able to use EA's spa day massage tables. Features a bump cutout so your pregnant sims can finally get proper massages.
Now available as a standalone download if you want just the massage table without the full mod.

Module 4 - Healthy Eating - See how every dish in The Sims 4 has been re-categorized as (Healthy/Neutral/Unhealthy/Unsafe) as part of this module. I have also organized by game pack so you can see which recipes are available with your packs.

For some reason, mines is messed up. My sim got the parched moodlet and when she drank water, nothing happened. When she was in the labor at the hospital, she drank 3 glasses of water. Then it made her become dizzy and dehydrated, and nothing changed after she drank more water. Do you know what I should do for this?
Check if you have the latest updated version. I updated this mod last week
My Sim is "dehydrated" for 22 days - but has drank like 7 glasses of water lol is this normal? Do I need to have her do something different?

Hi, Prenatal Exertion was reported as broken by twisted mexi's better exceptions report, and when my sim was dehydrated, she stopped being able to move and it froze my game

Okay so I know I am probably being really dumb and I apologize for that, but where do I find the water bottles?
When sim is pregnant there will be an option on the computer to 'Purchase hydration sources'
milk pump That's how it is with these ones—I haven't tried yet to see how it is with the others.
Unfortunately, it seems there are conflicts with PandaSama's mods; whenever I place an item from one of them, I am unable to save and have to quit the game. I removed your mod to test it out, and saving worked again.

Hey! I have been running into issues with this mod the last few days and I wanted to let you know as I LOVE it so much for my gameplay. I keep getting a report on better exceptions saying its failed tuning etc and it keeps getting flagged. You may not have downloaded the lot51 injector correctly OR the mod itself may be in a subfolder of a subfolder in your mod folder
Hey! I love this mod so much and I can’t play without it anymore:), but I was having issues with the German translation, you’ve mentioned you did it yourself? But a lot of the German translations don’t make any sense, and there is no way to choose to use the English one because when I download the mod it’s automatically German.

it shouldnt conflict but as for whether the gameplay with both would integrate well i'm not sure.... i havent tested its compatibility tbh but i will do some testing this week and let you know :)
So ummm I've had a bug and my baby was supposed to have died from sids and at first he was dead but he suddenly came back? He's considered dead in my family but he's back in my family and he's alive again? Idk what to do for that not to happen again.
Are you able to amswer some questions so i can help you asap: 1. What version of thr mod do you have 2. How long did it take for him to rejoin household after dying 3. What action were your sims doing that precipitated the baby coming back to life(travelling, etc)
Hii! I love this mod so much, but I think a bug is happening! Every couple of Sims hours, my pregnant sim will get the "gained protection" and "lost protection" moodlets, and at the same exact time, I'll also get both of the notifications. My sim has been doing everything right, and it happens multiple times every time I play the game, but I don't know why! I have the latest version, but should I redownload it anyway to see if that fixes it?

Hi I love ypur job but for me water bottls are vanished in order at computer at all((lot is 15th march Responsible Pregnancy Mod vers Version 3.9 and massage table. But if I am not mistaken Pregnancy Massage Table is included into RPM but what part concrettically I don't find out
pregnancy massage table isnt included in the responsible pregnancy mod you have to download that separately.. water bottles can only be order when sim is pregnant
Hi, so I’ve downloaded this mod, all the modules, and Core Library 51. But when I’m in the game, the mod does appear, but some of the options are missing—there’s just an empty text bubble and an emoticon from the mod. Do you have any idea why this is happening and what the solution might be? By the way, I really like this mod, thanks!

I love this mod, it's really interesting, but like - where do my newborns go after they're born with complications? Cause my sim had twins and only one of them was visible in the family after being born BUT I couldn't find where they were at all :p

idea, if you are interested: Could there be either effects for drinking while breastfeeding and/or improved future health for breast fed babies?
Thats actually already included for module 7👀👀 its why the sim experiences lactation issues.. it makes the baby's healthy worse if they have newborn complication... the breastfeeding sim should get a warning notification when they consume something harmful

i can make one but it will have to be cheated before the sim gives birth not afterwards whilst the baby is a newborn...would that be alright?
After testing a while I can say this is a really fun mod and would recommend to everyone! She still has to give birth but so far it's a really excellent addition to my game.

My sim was drinking and smoking during pregnancy and the baby still came out fine and it says that she was sober her entire pregnancy :/ its not working for my game

I had a suggestion would you think of adding compatibility with Law and Disorder by Lumpinou maybe adding legal consequences for drinking whilst pregnant. I know that would be alot of work but it would be cool

Hi! Thank you so much for this mod!! I wanted to ask a question to clarify a few things. First, do the babies with complications have to go to the doctor multiple times a day? If so, how many? I noticed I get the notification twice a day and a missed one if I leave and come back into the game. I just want to know if I'm doing something wrong.

If you are referring to the acute illness newborn complication then no it should only trigger once per day, However yes if you leave the game or load into another venue and back to household it will trigger a due appointment(not missed) ..check that you arent missing a due appointment notification when you load back into the game.

Hi! I can't find Simethicone Drops on the computer, in which menu is it? I've searched for it in the order menu with the mother but I didn't find it.
How odd! I just tested again and I can see it. You are correct it is in the order section of the computer. Do you have a cc computer? Does your sim have an infant or baby?

Currently only basementals mods and also without any alcohol Cc. I haven't used natabear or kawaiistacie for their alcohol mod but I will check them out to see how that is integrated! Im aiming to add compatibility for other alcohol mods and CC
