Quick Update: Responsible Pregnancy Public Release January 22nd

Hey Guys!

The public release is getting pushed back from the 16th to Thursday January 22nd. I’ve been chasing down some reported errors around the newborn complications feature with twin babies that are proving tricky to pin down.

The frustrating part is I can’t replicate these issues on my end, which makes me think they might be scenario specific or potentially a mod conflict. I primarily test with PandaSama’s Childbirth, Lumpinou’s RPO, and adeepindigo’s Healthcare Redux, so it not one of those.

If you’re running into these problems, please send me your Better Exceptions report or any MCCC exception logs, via my discord server if you encounter these issues or any other (https://discord.gg/gCHQwFX3sb )

The more detail I have, the faster I can drill down into what’s actually happening. If I can’t land a clean fix, I’ll add a cheat option so it won’t disrupt anyones gameplay.

I’m sorry for the delay, I promise I wont make a habit out of shifting release dates. I just need a few more days to try to fix this issue.

I have added 30+ interactions into this update primarily in Module 1 Substance Abuse, see below for sneak peak at one of my favourite ones:

Ask Bartender to Stop Serving specific Pregnant Sim

When any sim catches a pregnant sim drinking alcohol, they can approach the bartender to request that they stop serving alcohol to a specific pregnant Sim.

When a sim catches a pregnant sim drinking alcohol, they can approach the bartender to request that they temporarily stop serving alcohol to a specific pregnant Sim.

The bartender will request clarity as to their relationship with the pregnant sim which can either be their romantic partner, family member, stranger, nemesis, stranger or the requesting sim can tell the bartender to mind their own business.

Bartender can either accept or refuse the request based on various factors.

When the pregnant sim tries to order an alcoholic drink at the bar they will receive a notification from the bartender that they are currently unable to serve them.
