Raccoon Studio drops July 25th β and the Discord opens this week π¦
Six weeks ago I started sharing this with you, piece by piece, and on July 25th it finally becomes real: the first release of Raccoon Studio. The whole thing runs on your own machine β your GPU, your hardware, your files β and once it's installed, it's yours to keep.
Here's what's waiting for you on day one:
πΌοΈ Image generation across a whole range of model families β SDXL, Pony, Illustrious, Z-Image and more β with text-to-image, img2img, inpaint and outpaint all in one place.
π¬ Video β turn a single image into moving footage, right there on your own hardware.
π Face swap with high-quality restoration built in.
π― ControlNet & IP-Adapter β real control over pose, composition and style.
ποΈ A full Gallery β tag, compare and manage your work in bulk, backed by a queue, history, prompt presets and wildcards.
βοΈ Model management β download, organize and clean up your models straight from the app.
And best of all, it installs itself: one click, no Python knowledge required.
The base app is free, and further down the road I'll add some optional extras for Patreon members β a Photo Editor, Prompt Builder, Movie Maker and the Director pipeline that takes you from plot to finished film β but that's a story for another day.
One honest thing before launch: this is a first release, and it's built by one person, so there will be bugs. That's exactly why the Discord matters, and it opens this week. Think of it as your direct line to me β a place to report what breaks, share ideas, and have a real say in what gets built next. I'm doing this solo, so your feedback genuinely steers the roadmap; if something falls over, tell me there and I'll fix it. The people who show up early are the ones who end up shaping where this goes.
And to my Patrons β thank you, genuinely. You've watched this come together week after week and kept it moving the whole way, and the simple truth is that it exists because of you. π
So mark July 25th, keep an eye out for the Discord invite this week, and come say hi. See you there.

Dumb question: you have any recommendations or idea on what the hardware requirements are for the studio?
It depends on the features and models that you are using. For the basic image generation functions a RTX 3060 and 16 GB RAM should be enough. For the LTX Video Generation was already a "Low VRAM" mode implemented to support setups with 16GB VRAM with 32 GB Ram. If we have a lot of user that cannot fit the requirements, I give my best to implement further Low VRAM modes that can handle 8GB VRAM setups.
