Another test version
This is another test version for the car shakiness problem, hopefully the last one since it's working even at 8hz on my PC. For testing please keep the Server type A and the default frequency. Let me know if you still have the issue.
PS: since noone offered to test the AI drift server plugin I stopped the development, if someone is interested I'm still willing to work on it.

I can't figure out how to disable the wrong way sign. Is there a option Im missing?
You can rename the "fast_lane.ai" file in the AI folder of the track or you can add these lines to the config file I send to CSP: [EXTRA_RULES] ALLOW_WRONG_WAY = 1 LIMIT_LOCK_CONTROLS_TIME = 0 LIMIT_LOCK_CONTROLS_TOTAL_TIME = 0 To do that you need to add a "track folder name.ini" file in the "CSP Settings" folder in your Virtual Steward folder. In the traffic tab of the latest version you can generate the file by clicking the "..." button after selecting the track in the tracks list.
Nice and Smooth! at 15 cars it starts geting shaky. also at 100hz. type b still lil bit smoother with 15 cars.
The 8hz replay I used for testing runs smoother when played in AC then when "streamed" with VS so I guess there's room for improvement but I have no idea if Kunos uses the same interpolation method in both instances or if it's actually possibile to get the same smoothness with the client/server protocol. I'll try to make it better but, unless I get reports of this last one still having problems, it'll be a low priority task.
if i may know, how many cars are you able to run without twitching at 8hz?
I tested with just one car, let me know if you have problems with more.
Yes I have a server on assetto host.
Hi, on Patreon I can see your email, I can use that to send you the test version download link or you can contact me on Discord: Stripe76.
I’d love to test ai drift server !
For testing I mean in a real case scenario: do you have a running server? Can you upload a custom version of AssettoServer? I mean, I can send you a test version anyway but if you plan on running it locally, it won't be much different than using the standard Virtual Steward server feature. To clarify: I'm using the "AI drift server" term because that's the main purpose I started working on it, since many people asked about that, but what it does is just play a replay on the server and send it to the clients, there's not an actual bot capable of drifting, you have to record a replay.
