JAYESIMS x JAYE HINSON PRESENTS SHIP DA PETS OFF (DLC)

The first official gameplay DLC for Ship Da Kids Off is here.

Now your Sims can arrange actual care for the pets when they need somewhere to go. Pick the pets, choose where they’re staying, set their care instructions, pay the fees, keep up with them while they’re gone, and bring them home when the stay is over.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Stay With a Pet Sitter
Choose a trusted Sim or hire a local pet sitter. The sitter’s household actually matters, and the game checks whether they’re prepared to care for your pets.

Boarding & Overnight Care
Send pets to standard boarding, luxury boarding, emergency care, or overnight veterinary care.

Horse Care & Boarding
Horse Ranch players can arrange boarding for horses and foals with horse-specific care included.

Boarding School & Training
Enroll pets in one of three schools:

Jaye’s Everyday Manners Boarding School
Basic manners, socialization, separation confidence, house manners, and younger pet foundations.

Harry’s Advanced Pet Training Academy
Advanced obedience, impulse control, behavior work, confidence training, and agility preparation.

Kayla’s Elite Pet & Equine Boarding Institute
Advanced pet programs plus horse temperament, agility, jumping, endurance, foal foundations, and equine training.

PET PROFILES + PASSPORTS

Every pet keeps their own care record.

You can keep track of:

• Temperament
• Behavior concerns
• Care difficulty
• Feeding and health needs
• Training progress
• Previous stays
• Boarding schools attended
• Certificates earned
• Favorite caregivers
• Bad caregiver experiences
• Pet-to-sitter compatibility
• Preferred sitters
• Emergency contacts
• Horse-approved caregivers
• Sitters you never want watching that pet again

Caregiver history matters too. A pet can love staying with one Sim and absolutely hate staying with another.

CARE PLANS

Before your pets leave, you can set up their actual routine.

Choose things like:

• Feeding schedule and portions
• Walks and exercise
• Medication and health care
• Food allergies and restrictions
• Sleep routines
• Behavior rules
• Horse turnout and care
• Individual routines for each pet

You can use recommended routines or customize every pet yourself.

THE STAY

Pet care can be arranged for:

• Work
• Date night
• Vacation
• Family emergencies
• Hospital stays
• Moving
• Home repairs
• Vet recovery
• Events
• Temporary boarding
• Emergency evacuation
• Training
• Horse-related needs
• Custom reasons

You’ll also get pet-care messages, behavior updates, health updates, payment updates, pickup information, current stay management, past stay history, and recovery options if something goes wrong.

PAYMENT

Pet care has actual costs.

Your total can change depending on:

• Number of pets
• Length of stay
• Temperament and care difficulty
• Last-minute booking
• Overnight care
• Special care needs
• Boarding choice

You’ll see the price before confirming and can add a tip when available.

REQUIRED

Ship Da Kids Off is required.

For dogs and cats, you must own The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack.

For horses and foals, you must own The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack.

If you don’t own Horse Ranch, you can still use the regular cat and dog portions of the DLC.

IMPORTANT

There is no in-home pet sitter option in the release version. Pets are sent to a sitter household, professional boarding service, horse boarding, or boarding school.

Please read the download/install instructions before reporting a problem.
