Jaye’s Realistic Mood Names V1

JayESims x Jaye Hinson Present: Jaye Cash — The Money Mobile App | JayESims on Patreon Jaye Cash is a mobile money app for your Sims. Your Sims can request money, send money, get ignored, get paid, and actually have buffs and notifications tied to what happens.

Your Sims can use their phone and go to:

Social > Jaye Cash

From there, they’ll see:

Jaye Cash: Request Money
Jaye Cash: Send Money
Jaye Cash: Account

There are also relationship panel options when you click on a Sim:

Request §10
Request §25
Request §50
Request §100
Send §25
Send §50
Send §100

Money requests are not always guaranteed. Sometimes the Sim will pay, sometimes they’ll ignore it. Bigger requests have a lower chance of being accepted, so don’t be shocked when somebody leaves your Sim on read.

Important Jaye Cash Requirements:

For Jaye Cash interactions to show, your Sim must have already met the other Sim and have at least 50% friendship relationship with them.

If the interaction is not showing, check that:

Your Sim has met the target Sim.
Their friendship is 50% or higher.
The target is not a child, pet, or horse.
The active Sim is not a child.
The Sim is not on Jaye Cash cooldown.

What’s included in Jaye Cash V1:

Sims can request money from other Sims
Sims can send money to other Sims
Paid requests move household funds
Ignored requests do not move money
Notifications show when a request is paid or ignored
Sims get buffs when money is sent or received
Cooldowns stop Sims from spamming requests
Children are blocked from using the system
Pets and horses are blocked from the picker
Requires friendship before money requests can happen
Works through phone and relationship panel

I wanted the emotions in The Sims 4 to feel more natural when you’re actually playing, storytelling, taking screenshots, or building real life situations in your saves.

This mod replaces EA’s default mood names with more everyday wording that feels better in-game.

Some mood name changes include: :

Happy → In A Good Mood
Tense → Anxious
Angry → Irritated
Bored → Checked Out
Inspired → Full Of Ideas
Focused → Concentrated
Flirty → Attracted
Sad → Feeling Down

And more.

This mod is for players who want their game to read smoother, feel more realistic, and make more sense for storytelling, screenshots, machinima, family drama, romance, mental health moments, or everyday gameplay.

Important Mood Mod Info:

This mod does not change how emotions work.
It does not add new emotions.
It does not change buffs, autonomy, mood colors, or gameplay behavior.

For example:

In A Good Mood is still mechanically Happy.
Irritated is still mechanically Angry.
Anxious is still mechanically Tense.

This is a mood name and mood wording override.

Compatibility:

Please only use one mood override mod at a time.

If you have another mod that changes EA emotion names, mood names, mood tuning, or emotion UI wording, it can conflict with this one. Pick one so the names show correctly.

Place it directly in your Mods folder (no more than one subfolder deep).

⚠️ Important Installation Rule

Each mod comes in two versions:

• User‑Directed Version

• Autonomous Version

You must choose ONE version only.
Do NOT place both versions in your Mods folder at the same time.

Having both installed will cause conflicts, missing interactions, or unexpected behavior.

AUTO Version

• “Auto” means the actions happen autonomously (without you controlling it).

• Just like how Sims have a mind of their own.

• So yes, you will usually NOT see pie menus for mods/files that you downloaded that say AUTO. That’s normal.

User Directed Version

• “User Directed” means the actions are in your control.

• Mods/files that say User Directed should show pie menus because you’re the one choosing the interactions.
