I never expected a first time listen to a song from a singer I've never heard of to make me feel this intensely. Fukakai really did it's job in making me feel and think things that I just can't define. I connect so much with the fact it feels like it's trying to say that words used to describe, fall short when it comes to the most complex of feelings and you shouldn't feel the need to have to try and define them. I feel like no word completely describes the feeling you get from the thing that you're trying to use it for. She was perfect to sing this too because of the sheer amount of feeling she can fit into just her voice even without any need for definitions or words to describe. A thought along these lines appeared in my head from this song: "Is it a surprise that the times you feel the most intensely, the only way to describe yourself is speechless."

Oh Kaf... She really has single handedly given a reason for the formation of Kamitsubaki, a platform for musical and artistic expression, a planetary nebula for singers, artists and composers to be nurtured. There is something genuine and pristine about her voice, and when paired with Kanzaki's lyrics and composition.. A raw, unadulterated cries of the youth, gave the youths' of Japan a voice towards the bs that they had no say towards. She's something special, a lightning in a bottle to be frank and Pied Piper managing that feet is incredible. Hoping to see more song studies on other Kamitsubaki and kamitsubakia adjacent singers like the talented bunch from RK music....

What a beautiful study! Hated by Life itself always makes me tear up as a song, especially since Kanzaki singing himself adds such a personal note to this special performance. Kanzaki also has a solo live performance on his channel with a different arrangement that he sung, in general there is a lot of cool different versions of Hated by life itself each with different personal notes to them.

Thanks for diving into the world of Kamitsubaki starting with Kaf. Kanzaki Iori felt he was starting to stagnate thus he wanted to leave kamitsubaki to develop on his own before one day returning to write for Kaf and VWP. That concert was the place it was announced as well as the day he left.

The reason Kanzaki is no longer the main composer for KAF is simply due to him leaving Kamitsubaki because he felt he was stagnating musically and wanted to start fresh, no drama.

Vsingers are mainly focused on music, while vtubers (who arent vsingers) are more regular streamers and content creators And more context for her Budokan appearance, Kamitsubaki (the group she's part of) was under Avex, the 3rd largest record label in Japan, until August 2023. So she had the label connection then
