Baby SKZ is so cute. They were trying so hard to look tough 😂
Also, the lyrics for District9 are epic Especially the Han-Changbin section They just look us as a bunch of troublemakers It won’t be an easy task to change their views But we won't get down on misconceptions and bias It’s our mission to prove who we are They say "You're different from me, so leave here" But you need to know that being different is not being wrong Soon it'll be time for jealousy We're at the district where a small light becomes huge Started with nine uh at the end it’s going to be all of ours Although 9 became 8, everything else came to be. They did prove themselves. They did manage the "not easy" task of "changing people's views about them" Sure, there are still people who don't like Skz but there are way more people who have gotten to know them and realized they are so much more than just "troublemakers" and "too loud and noisy" and "too different" Now it's like Han said in Creed "one day we'll become the ones that they wanna be like" There already are new groups that look up to and take inspiration from Skz
It's funny that you say "they knew who they were" because that is actually the theme of their first EP trilogy I Am - figuring out who they are. I Am Not - deciding who they don't want to be I Am Who - searching for who they do want to be I Am You - ultimately realizing that their identity is something they define themselves and is also influenced by the people around them (members, Stay) From what Chan hinted in the I Am You album intro I understand he had it all mapped out from the start. Then the second year they had the Clé trilogy which was about finding their place in the world now that they know who they are.
One thing I really like about Stray Kids is exactly what you picked up on in your introduction and throughout the video. "A lot of their stuff is about that". From the very start, with the name and the debut track, they have known exactly who they are with respect to their music. Literal Stray Kids, creating a place where they can be themselves and other people who feel like they don't belong ("stray kids everywhere all around the world") can find community and comfort. I've seen recorded live performances of this song so much more than I've listened to the studio version that now it sounds incomplete without the live ad libs they do, "EVERYBODY MAKE some NOISE". 😂
Im sooo excited for the Album!!!!
I spent this reaction running the video back because I was so distracted between having cuteness aggression and laughing at baby skz. Like Binnie also commented, they're trying so hard to be cool but they're just cute. For Tim, since you asked about their age. Chan and Woojin was about to turn 21, Lee Know was about to turn 20, Changbin was about to turn 19, Hyunjin, Han, Felix and Seungmin were all about to turn 18 (technically Hyunjin turned 18 a few days before debut but he was 17 when this mv was filmed) and Innie had just turned 17.
I.N at 16 man I remember those times. LOL, I believe he was 16 in Hellevator for sure.
Yes, he was 16. According to the date in the MV Hellevator was filmed Sept 29th, so all the 2000 boys were 17, and Binnie was 18. Chan and Lee Know's birthday hadn't passed yet so they were 19 and 18. And Woojin was 20.
To think that this song was written by litteral teenage 3Racha is madness😆 We should do a Pre skz 3Racha thing at some point for funnsies
Thanks for the reaction!!🥰 Its allways crazy for me to think that Han was only 17 here and could allready Rap like that
The survival show is in the requests so I hope we get ti watch it with you at some point😄
I.N just turned 17 here so they definatly were very young😆 Its also kinda funny to me how they are obviously trying to look cool but at the same time they are still so babyfaced😂
