But since their whole idea is that their vampires which is prettty often in their songs it makes sense? Also anyone else going mad over how ni-ki voice changed? The song that you liked so much from the Orange Blood album is called "Blind". It is a favorite song of lots of Engenes but they only have 1 live performance of the song, other than this little bit of the song in Killing Voice. It is funny that you compared their one song to The Weekend, because he is a favorite of Heeseung, the center and main vocalist of Enhypen. He did an amazing live cover of "Can't Feel my Face" in Spain, that you should hear. Heeseung is my bias since their I-Land days because of his voice, among other things. He does the adlibs and background vocals for their songs and also has done some producing of songs, like he did in "Bite Me". I joined your Patreon to watch this and I really enjoyed it. Enhypen is my ult group and I hope you listen to more of their songs. When they first started out, Heeseung went on Lee Mujin Service and also did a cover of Justin Bieber's "Off My Face", if you want to hear him early on in his career. I would start at the beginning with arguably the best debut song by any kpop group, "Given-Taken". They are considered to have a no skip discography, so you can't go wrong with almost any song you listen to.

I tend to lean towards vocal focused groups than rap/hype groups and honestly it’s not as common within 4th gen boy groups so I was glad to find enhypen lol

Have you ever been recommended the show "lee mujin service"? its a show hosted by one of Koreas top singer-songwriters where he brings on members from groups solo, and they get to talk about their voice and preform some of their favorite songs! It seems right up your alley!

ENHYPEN is definitely more vocal focused however they do have some songs that are more hip hop/rap heavy like outside, future perfect (pass the mic), paradoxxx invasion, blessed cursed and their most recent title track knife. They can all rap & sing and their choreos and dancing are some of the best imo. Niki actually started in the group at the fresh age of 14, so his voice has changed a lot since they first started if you happen to listen to some of their earlier stuff. If you ever get around to it, you should watch i-land, the survival show that formed ENHYPEN to see just how far all of them have come. Jake was only a trainee for 6 months prior to getting on the show and then selected to be in ENHYPEN which is pretty amazing. Jake also recently did a Leemujin service that i highly recommend watching. His voice sounds SO GOOD. Also highly recommend watching Jay’s bon jovi cover of always. It’s incredible. Also sleep tight is a new song off their latest album that I’m obsessed with that gives 00s r&b vibes and their voices sound so good in that pocket. Also interesting what u said about Jake and Sunoo sounding similarly stylistically in some parts bc that’s something I definitely noticed on the new album. They made so many interesting choices with their vocals on this album, I think you should definitely check it out— the sin: vanish.

Jake is my bias in general, but Jay is my voice bias - when he gets to use his rock edge. He tones it down in Enhypen songs because it’s not the group sound per se, but I agree with another’s suggestion to check out his Bon Jovi Always cover (it has 24M views. So ENHYPEN are technically a more vocal based heavy group - although they DO rap and have harder hitting songs. Also the song you really liked in the beginning is called Blind! you are right about them being more of a vocal heavy group! they do have some heavier rap/hip hop songs, definitely a wide variety of genres, but they mainly sing for sure. believe it or not heeseung and jay are strong rappers as well!
