Thanks Anne, what a banger!

Hey Tim . I finally got around to watching Han and Lee Know’s guest appearance in the Lee Mujin Service which is a program where they showcase their vocals in a minimal acoustic setting. It was amazing, it really highlights all the different range and emotions they are capable of reaching and are also hilarious. also Seungmin and I.n make an appearance which I haven’t watched yet but I’m gonna link below cause I’m sure they are all amazing. So much YES to a deep dive!! Also I think it's really neat that what you picked up about Stray Kids is that in contrast to the polished image of perfection that KPOP usually is, they are playful, adventurous, loud, gritty, messy, even- that is exactly what the song is about! This is a clapback to the haters and naysayers who said they were too chaotic and just making noise; they are rock solid confident in themselves and refuse to compromise on their art or who they are, and look, they are on top now, "everything shakes" because of the bangers they are making. This is SKZ's megaverse, we just live in it. 😂
Oh also as a little language fan myself I loved the efficiency question😆 I think from the languages I learned it would either be Hungarian or Japanese🤔 Hungarian uses alot of agglutinations which technically makes sentences short in word count but it also makes words very long so idk😂 also honestly never got far enough with it to really make a judgement (its a ridiculosly difficult to learn, I would not recommand trying😂) In Japanese you need alot of words for little information but its spoken extremly fast (also to my great dismay as a student😂) Sorry for the music unrelated yapping😂😂
Another efficiency comment from a language fan 😄 As a native Finnish speaker learning Korean, I would say Finnish can sometimes be even more efficient, even though both are agglutinative languages (like Hungarian). I don't speak Hungarian though, so I can't really compare it. Here's a quick example (ENG / FIN): I'm going to the forest / Menen metsään.
This was fun! I would absolutly looove deep dives of some Songs (maybe Thunderous or Lalala since those are on the list anyways🤔💁♀️)
If your doing the 45 minute thing Throw in a dance practice vid in there aswell with the deep dive because as someone who appreciates dance, your gonna love it
I’m joining the others in saying it; Tim, you have to see the recording session. If you’re this enthusiastic about the song (which, welcome to the club), you’ll regret it if you miss it. They’re making such a masterpiece but they’re so chill about it, it’s fun. It’s from the start to 13:13 in this video: https://youtu.be/YMb3EHXjs50?si=Cv9uKT8Bj7S5GF3y Like someone said, if you end up listening to cover me too, an idea would be to watch it all the way through. The recording of Cover Me is also great. As someone learning korean, it’s definitely much more efficient than english, and it’s a major cause for my headaches as of late 😂 It makes it hard to learn — my respect for Felix grows with every sentence I figure out. To have learned this as well as he did in the circumstances he did is — well, hat’s off😅
Aaaaaaaaaa MEGAVERSE. I can't possibly pick a favorite SKZ song but if I could, this would be up there near the top. I feel like this song makes my heart beat. Fun fact - the actor who plays the security guard at the start (the one that gets bullied for vandalising the photo of Felix) was a minor character in Squid Game! Also if no one else mentioned - the guy at the end is Tablo, part of another group. This was how they announced an upcoming collab with him (with their names crossing in the world's weirdest crossword puzzle). I love the weird sounds in this song: the flute-adjacent noise, the stray kids HOO chant, the choir sounds. I would love love love to see your reaction to the recording behind-the-scenes video for MEGAVERSE now that you've heard it. If you listen to Cover Me first, you can even do the entire video at once since it contains recording clips for both.
I love how much fun you had with this. I never fully noticed the little extra voices over the Rap and I listen to this song basicly daily😂 Im a bit sad that we didnt do the recording Session bts that was mentioned a couple of times but something tells me that you might not be against going into the song a second time 🫣
And yesss please to the Deep dives🙏🏻🥺. I think title Tracks are allways a good pick for that so for example Thunderous or S-class
little fun fact since you mentioned it Han and Changbin are in fact two of the fastest rappers in Kpop (depending on the source Changbin is even often credited as number 1)
I went down a rabbit hole the other day because I had heard Changbin was #1 fastest rapper and I was trying to figure out how they measure rapping speed (especially with multiple languages) and the short version is that no one really agrees how it should be measured (as you said it depends on the source), so we can't get a consensus on Changbin being the fastest😂 But I believe in him. He's the fastest to ME.
Hey Tim—thanks for the Megaverse reaction! Han is definitely my bias! I always enjoy your reactions, whether it’s Stray Kids or anything else. Megaverse goes hard in classic SKZ fashion—massive, cinematic production with relentless energy, and the rap line (especially Changbin and Han) just bulldozes through the track with confidence and bite. If you’re looking for another strong recommendation, definitely check out “Mirror Mirror” by F.HERO x MILLI ft. Changbin of Stray Kids. It’s raw, global hip-hop energy, and Changbin’s verse is razor-sharp and unapologetic. Also, if you haven’t yet, a 3RACHA track would be an incredible next move—something like “3RACHA” or “Runner’s High” to really showcase their roots, lyricism, and intensity as a unit. <3
yesss I second doing Mirror Mirror and it would add another country (Thailand) to the list😂😂
