Mingi is with a hard g πŸ₯° and Jongho is with a J sound, not y, although common mistake πŸ˜…

Thank you so much for the summary Bennett! Very nicely done, though I would've loved to hear your voice too! Love that ATEEZ is another chaotic group, reminds me of SKZ a lot in that regard! It's just fun to watch people genuinely goofing off and having fun together, whether hanging out or making art. Also it cracks me up that these guys are only 10 years older than my oldest child. Puts into perspective how the new up-and-coming trainees are my older kids' ages! (16 and 13, plus I have a 10yo)

Oh, I don't know that you noticed it, but the songs in the background were both from ATEEZ's first album (I wrote it in the bottom right corner). You said it sounded dramatic, like we were on a mission...well, that's what the intro for their first album sounded like!

Thank you for making this video, Bennett!! I've been a fan of ATEEZ for a while now but never really knew much about the members, so this was very informative!

Thank you, Bennett, for creating the video!! Good job putting the information together! Anyone interested, the introduction they did was on Showterview with Sunmi, who took over the show from Jessi in 2022. Here's a link: https://youtu.be/VldqS7kXOqY?si=zEX-GVQjroE_neOU

DID I MIX UP SOFT AND HARD G?! ;-;

S
Sharon Β· January 18, 2026

Hard G is a sound only G makes, like "go" or "gone", soft G sounds like a j, like "gel" or "ginger". Which one is Mingi? As a Japanese speaker who's only just starting to learn some Korean pronunciation, I was going to guess hard G. And for the record, I grew up fully bilingual but I still think English is harder than Japanese. >_<

AHH! I'm so nervous because that video editing software is so rough and I wish the video looked better!

Sorry for not narrating; I didn't want to make everyone hear my voice, haha.
