Stray Kids Lalapalooza Chicago 2024 FULL CONCERT REACTION (part 3 of 3)

Ahh, that was AMAZING! I have an awesome list of songs you all would like me to breakdown of theirs so stay tuned for those, and don't hesitate to recommend more live concerts you'd like me to check out. That was a blast! Thank you as always for your support and for keeping their incredible music on my radar! 🙌

Wow, this last third of the show was SO much fun! I love how obvious it is that the Kids genuinely and deeply enjoy their own music. In the last few songs they are all grinning and just feeling the beat; as a dancer I can feel in my own body what it's like to bounce and move like that to music that just feels so good. It's absolutely infectious! Really, it's such a great demonstration of what Chan has talked about in a few different places about how 3Racha strives to write music that is deeply enjoyable for the members to sing and dance to. Also "I have so many of their songs stuck in my head..." Tell me about it, my internal BGM is just a constant loop of 90% Stray Kids plus little bits of BTS and ATEEZ right now lol. I stayed up WAY too late finishing this (it's 3am...thankfully on a Saturday night), but I feel so deeply satisfied and I can go to bed with a smile on my face in spite of all the other "stuff" going on in my life and the world right now. Thank you, Tim!

Haven't even watched this whole thing yet but dancing 3 times a week to SKZ? YES! I'm a dancer and I already dance 3 times a week- but not to Stray Kids lol, I do 1 class each of ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. My hip hop teacher though and another student in that class (only 3 students in the advanced class sadly, we need more!) are also SKZ fans so maybe one of these days I'll convince them to break down some of the choreography and learn it with me lol. It would seriously be SO MUCH FUN

Not sure if you’d be interested! But skz recorded some behind the scene footage of them recording their albums and the vocal direction! Seeing as to you are interested in the song production as well, it might be a fun watch!! https://youtu.be/9odkgNeDJm4?si=IxxrshtkCrfID_0Q

I highly recommend their Maniac Concert in Seoul. Probably the most impressive in terms of filming quality able to showcase the best parts of each performance and their own silly interactions with each other

If you want some funny moment’s (maybe throw it in a reaction, this is a good short) https://youtube.com/shorts/N5bZ3f2tQ7o?si=p82VPhhcpXVgerjV

The clip of Bang Chan singing the backing track of Taste while they dance is one of my favorite clips ever 😂 and poor Han being victimized by all the bugs in the world.

So if you are indeed open to doing more stray kids the new dominate tour would be great but what would be much more beneficial to you Is hearing there solo stuff Here is a link with all there solo song’s from their album HOP (they recently released dvd versions so please excuse the google doc link) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_eDew7Ji5TH_yHZu-yTJaWojeUYBRHzThDWjE38WmWs/edit And if you wanna make it like a 4 parter (first two parts the the originals the the 3rd and 4th part is the cover’s by the other member’s) You could do the extra one where they swap their songs (example, han has a song called “hold my hand” and instead felix cover’s it and so on) Here is the link for that (fun fact they match their outfit’s to the one they are covering lol) https://youtu.be/p7ZTSCL72ME?si=jr0rotDbY2GbvT_O

Oh the DVD versions are nice thanks for shareing. I think Hallucination and Hold my Hand are both in the January recommandations so you might want to share that link there aswell😊 I think watching the stage versions might be even better then the MV

There’s been some hints that Stray Kids will be performing at the 2026 NYC Governors Ball

lol you clogging chan and his in-ear. He actually takes it out alot during their performances/concerts so if you look closely you can almost always see him wearing maximum one or none esp at the end of shows where he's triyng to listen to Stays singing along. I think it's his fave part abt performing ( i think it makes a lot of sense considering he wrote almost all songs and it must be such a great feeling having so many people that know and love your work)

you said you liked LALALALA and i think I'm telling the truth if I say we're really looking forward to havng you have a deeper analysys of the song however what i want to mention is that this live ver. is more or less the LALALALA rock ver. so i beg you to also check that one out! Sadly it doesnt have a mv or anything but atleast theres a colorcoded lyric vid!

If you had finished reading the SENTENCE (I'm teasing) - I said it was funny to say they were edgy and high-energy specifically because I knew we were going to hear Lonely St next, one of their slower/sadder songs 😂 They are pretty edgy and hardcore overall. WOO the grand finale. I WISH there were more live concerts available to watch that I could recommend to you, and watch myself. There are several live performances, mostly at award shows. They are all fantastic but typically they include just 1-3 songs. They are bringing a concert experience to theatres in February 2026 (unsure if it will be available at home / on demand). There's also a *different* bluray/dvd concert experience coming out (or maybe its out already?). Both are from the DominATE tour. LALALALA is one of my favorites, it's one of the ones I recommended in the last concert reaction. The video is fully insane I think you'll love it. I'm cracking up at Felix during Victory Song. If he wasn't in Stray Kids he would be a raver for sure. Boy loves to DANCE. It makes me sad to think they probably are too famous to go and enjoy a festival, they'd get mobbed. They can't even go to the dang airport without a full security detail. At this point I think I have listened to every Stray Kids song with the exception of some of the older solo/passion project songs, and there isn't a single one that I don't love. I don't really understand how a musical artist ONLY does bangers but I think it is because they just keep... making music. At one point they said they finish a song roughly every 3 days. It's rumored that there are over a hundred finished songs on Bang Chan's laptop that just haven't found an album yet. They're crazy prolific so I think they can just pick the very best ones to release.

If you want to hear more of Han's raw voice, he was on Leemujin Service (I will grab a link). It's a little interview show where they also perform live vocals-focused music, usually 1 original song and then some covers, it seems. I think 4 or 5 of the Stray Kids members were on at different times. I just watched Lee Know's the other day and it was BEAUTIFUL too. In fact I'll link both. Han: https://youtu.be/OE9BfiiMSrU?si=nujChi0gZcCNwnaE Lee Know: https://youtu.be/MVKXCY5lx0s?si=044bdchmIbUd_NkB

Haven is one of the Stay songs. They've made several "love songs" for Stay and this is one of them. Stay were almost called Haven, but SKZ ended up choosing Stay for our name. ❤️

S
Star Dust · January 4, 2026

There are some backstage clips of several of them doing classical style singing (for fun).

S
Star Dust · January 4, 2026

No, Bang Chan is considered to be in the vocal line. Vocalists do rap sometimes (Lee Know and Chan mostly). The units/lines are not rachas. There are only the 3 official Rachas. There are a bunch of unofficial Rachas that Stays come up with, like paboracha ("idiotracha"- it's said with love lol). 3racha is the production racha, not rap. It just happens that 2 of them are main rappers. Pre-debut, they all rapped, but Chan not so much anymore.

For the last song, they technically did go over time and weren't supposed to so I believe that was not planned. I was there, and after they sang the song they were talking and their mics got turned off LMAO they're like yall go home

This was so fun! Thank u That band is amazing and after lolla they actually stayed with SKZ for their 1 year long world tour so I saw them live hehe. About other concerts, you could do one from dominate tour but they are a lot longer than a festival set, like 3+ hours. A really good live performance i would recommend is the one for MAMA 2025 (it's an end of the year awards show), they always go all in on awards shows and that is one of the main ones. https://youtu.be/zRYTFhPxiyA?si=5eiZ_tcqwCD3yDZY

They unfortunately dont have a tiny desk. I think the closest to that we have are the performances for the KBS Radio Show (they did Thunderous there, Sophie added that Link to her rec) and the KBS Band Live (this one I also put into the recommandations)

Thanks for doing this with us! Really so much fun and I think this really gave you a good idea on why we love Straykids as much as we do. Can wait for more to come!🫰🏻

It’s so funny because the ending wasn’t an act hahaha they actually didn’t have another encore song the addition of haven was spontaneous haha them huddling together was for choosing the song and then chan asked if the console had haven ready for them on the spot haha

You got the Rachas right and in general I would say your grasps of the members and their specialities is pretty good!! Bang Chan might be the most difficult member to assigne a role or unit to bc he started out as a Rapper (the stuff 3Racha did pre skz was mostly Rap tracks). In Skz he also did a lot of vocal stuff from the beginning and then even more so after Woojin left (he used to be their main vocalist). So hes really part of both the Rap and Vocal line aswell as he is the one with the most Song production credits. 3Racha is really just their name as a production unit nowadays. The Rap unit also has Hyjunjin and Felix.
