After 25 minutes, I barely felt I was getting into it. There is so much to breakdown!

I recommend listening to their live performance of DARKEN. It’s a musical masterpiece.
I love and do english Covers for a lot of Zutomayo songs, I really adore them as an artist. I would really like to hear how you would consider some of their older songs. I know the groups most famous song is likely Byoushin wo Kamu aka "Gnawing at the Second Hand" which is a fantastic song. Ironically my first Zutomayo song I heard is one of the oldest a song called Milabo(Mirror Ball), its also such a touching song as well.
Definitely recommend checking out the anime versions of the songs as well (the ones with the visuals from chainsaw man).
Tim, you should check out ZUTOMAYO live. This video is perfect because it features the full lineup. And I guarantee you'll have a great time watching it. And a bit of a shock. https://youtu.be/Al_9DytnKnY?si=a5V1tF7aUtD5leHW
I have to second this. They are amazing live. The show I went to in 2024 had one semi improv arrangment with ACAね blind drawing a song (of three options) from a prop, requesting a genre (German Industrial) then spent the song calling out tempo changes, to go louder or softer, or for part of the crowd to sing.
Zutamayo are incredible musicians and unbelievable performancers, really would love to see more of them! Yorushika is also one of the bands that would be really cool to see for you.
Definitely check out some of their live performances and please keep doing the Chainsaw Man endings.
for more ZUTOMAYO i recommend the song 'Taidada' it's the first ending theme song to an anime called DAN DA DAN. and speaking of DAN DA DAN, the first opening theme is a song by Creepy Nuts called 'Otonoke.' since you've already enjoyed another song by Creepy Nuts maybe you'd enjoy that one as well! i love the jpop, jrock, and anime theme song reactions and analysis, it's the reason i subscribed to your patreon!! i've been listening to jpop/jrock/anime music since i was a little kid and i'm really really enjoying learning the details of WHY it's so good. and in a way that's easy to digest for someone like me who knows nothing about music theory or the terminology, my only hands on experience with music is 2ish years of classical guitar lessons 23 years ago lol
