VTuber Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame Vocal Analysis 'O Mio Babbino Caro'

If you get the chance, I'd recommend checking out ERB's cover of the Beatles' "Blackbird." Also, she did a wonderful cover of "Stay With Me" with Octavio of Holostars. (the male branch of Hololive)

Thanks for taking a look at ERB. I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts on her other covers, maybe also some of her voice mimicing. Obviously other Hololive members are also recommended!

Liz LOVES doing karaoke streams, she's all about having fun in them so she puts her own spin on the songs like you pointed out! I could give you so many karaoke clips of her, but "Viva La Vida" is an iconic one that she did, plenty of ad libs and switches. The same goes for her "My Way" and "Don't Stop Me Now" Funny enough, there's another Hololive vtuber who's sung opera before, and had formal training when she was younger (before having to stop for health reasons)! Tokino Sora, the very first Hololive vtuber, and she has a very high vocal range (shown in her song "Star,Star,Start")

Liz has a lot of different songs in many different styles she has done in karaoke streams. It's a shame that whoever owns the Shrek musical rights has struck every attempt at archiving her singing a song as three different-aged versions of the same character, changing the apparent age of her voice during a sustained note each time. You're right that her favoured place is a big sound, she often chooses songs in karaoke that support that.

Yay! Hoping you forgive me for the classical channel ;)

Also, awesome that you are an Illini, my parents both retired from the U of I.

Liz is just crazy talented with her singing abilities and ability to mimic voices. I’m guessing she’ll get an original song sooner than later. The other 3 members of her Hololive group(Justice) put out their first original songs over the last 3 months.

*it's 5 am, may edit this later to fix it* You can call E.R.B. or ERB as most do if the name is a bit hard to say. This was a fun step by step break down. She has a ton of power behind her voice for sure. She doesn't normally sing opera as she's a Jazz trained singer which made it funny for you to compare her with Renee Fleming. ERB is also an amazing impressionist and often pranks others talents by imitating theirs or others voices. It can be incredible to hear at times so she isn't very limited in vocal abilities. It still baffles me she is one of the best singers but still no original song. I hope one is in the works and I look forward to what it is.
