Hey there!
Ok, here we go! Very excited to add quick takes as a new category of content, just look for the new logo on the thumbnail.
This should help me stay in contact with more communities at once, since I can cover more ground. If you feel one of my quick takes should be a longer song analysis, just let me know in the comments, I'll be happy to consider it! Also, I'm open to your thoughts about this content type in general, does it scratch the itch for you, or do you really want the longer ones every time?

I love this idea too. It also can give me or viewers an opportunity to get a taste or "sampler" of different groups! Like someone mentioned below, I got to watch 2-3 from other artists during my work lunch and I definitely am going to keep an eye out for more!
I have 2 questions. How will you decide on which song gets a quick take or gets a more in depth analysis? And when you do a quick take, is there a possibility of you doing a in depth analysis later on?
Great question, I have a few thoughts on this. Yes, anything that was a quick take could also become a longer analysis at any point. Also, I think it makes sense for off the beaten path songs to maybe start there, at least. Sometimes when I feel I haven’t connected with one of our communities in a while I could grab a couple songs to listen to off of the recommendations list and do a quick take or two. I like that that’s much easier now. I like the idea of people letting me know if they would like it to be a quick take or a longer analysis when they recommend things. It will take a while for the community to get accustomed to that, but I think that will happen overtime. I’m also figuring this out as we go a bit so I’m open to ideas and I want to see how the community responds.
I like the quick takes. I was able to catch a nice variety of music during my lunch hour and without needing to navigate in and out of the different collections. I usually miss artists like Faouzia because I intend to go back later when I have time, but I get sidetracked.
After watching the first few I have to say I really like the idea!!
This is great, now I wont feel bad suggesting stuff cause it takes up so much of your time you can't get to other things.
Same. I haven’t sent too many songs in the discord because I know Tim has a lot that people want him to watch, but now I won’t feel as bad about it
Hi Tim, I'm already at the $5 tier. How can I suggest a video to be reacted to as a quick take? I want you to discover a new artist, Eva Cassidy, a legend gone too soon, who became famous posthumously, was praised by the like of Sting and Paul McCartney, and had a great influence on many singers from the new generation (eg Angelina Jordan, Lucy Thomas, Emily Linge, ...) Should I post the video link as a direct message? Or is there a folder for it in Discord ?

I’m sure this will help for a ton of different genres, but I think it’ll be especially helpful for K-pop; I think that’ll help satisfy the community & give you a little taste instead of having to commit to deep-diving on every group without knowing how interesting they are for you.
